Educational Qualification : Class XII passed from a recognized board with Mathematics or Economics or Statistics as one of the subjects.
Age Limit : 18 to 30 years
Selection Process : Physical Endurance-cum-Eligibility Test + Main (written) Examination + Interview Test
Application Fee : Rs. 150/-
How to Apply : Candidates have to fill the application form and submit it to the office of the Sikkim Public Service Commission on any working day between 10:30 am. to 03:30 pm along with the application fee.

- Class XII passed from a recognized board with Mathematics or Economics or Statistics as one of the subjects.
- Should have attained the age of 18 years, but should not have exceeded 30 years as on 31 Aug 2016.
- Maximum age limit is relaxable by five (05) years in the case of BL/ST/SC/PT candidates and four (04) years and three (03) years for OBC-Central List and OBC – State List candidates, respectively.

Selection process of the SPSC Field Assistant Recruitment consists of :
- Physical Endurance-cum-Eligibility Test
- Main (written) Examination
- Medical Examination
First candidates have to appear in the Physical Endurance-cum-Eligibility Test. After this candidates will be shortlisted for Main Examination.
Those candidates who will qualify in the written examination will be called for interview in the ratio as fixed by the Notification. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the examination/Interview.
Admission at all the stages of examination for which candidates are admitted by the Commission viz. Physical Endurance-cum-Eligibility Test, Main (written) Examination and Interview Test will be purely provisional and is subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.
At last, there will be one medical examination which is conducted after the interview. Selected candidates after the interview will have to appear in the medical examination.
If on verification at any stage of the examination process, it is found that candidates do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature for the post will be canceled by the Commission without notice.
It is to be noted that no traveling and daily allowances will be paid for the journey of the written examination, Interview, and the medical examination.
