How to Estimate SSC CGL 2021 Scores?

With the release of memory-based answer keys, aspirants can calculate their scores for the SSC CGL exam. Thereafter, they can compare their tentative scores with the expected cut-off marks to know provisional selection status. However, these scores will differ from the final scores due to the normalization process and other criteria. Hence, these are not the final scores. Check out the step by step process to know how to calculate SSC CGL 2021 marks below.

1st step: Go to the website to download the official answer key. Or, candidates can also refer to the unofficial answer keys for reference.

2nd step: Next, compare the answer keys and note down the correct and incorrect number of answers.

3rd step: To calculate the scores, use the formula below.

SSC CGL Tentative scores = (Number of correct answer x 02 marks) – (Number incorrect answer x 0.5 marks)

Marking Scheme

  • Correct Answer = +2 marks
  • Incorrect Answer = -0.5 marks

SSC CGL Result 2021

Candidates can check SSC CGL Result 2021 online through ssc.nic.in. The result is announced in the form of a merit list. So, aspirants should keep their roll numbers/ registration numbers ready. On qualifying for the exam, candidates need to appear for the Mains examination (Tier-II). It is also a multiple-choice question-based examination. Thereafter, Tier III (Written Exam) and Tier IV (skill test/ proficiency) are also conducted.The final merit list for the examination shall release based on the performance in  Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III.
