SSC CGL Analysis Tier I – 02 March (Shift 01)
Shift 1 of the CGL Tier I exam is over on March 02, 2020. Tier I exam is going to continue till March 11, 2020. Shift 1 exam was conducted online throughout the country as per schedule. Number of questions
- This section consisted of 25 MCQ type questions.
Level of difficulty
- The level of difficulty of the section was overall between easy to moderate.
Question pattern
- Questions were not highly tricky and familiar questions from prevoious years were included.
Exam analysis of General Intelligence & Reasoning section
Number of questions
- GI & Reasoning section consisted of 25 questions.
Level of difficulty
- The level of difficulty of the questions related to puzzles and series based reasoning was easy to moderate.
Question pattern
- Questions on coding and decoding were relatively harder to solve.
- Solving such questions can be time-consuming in the exam hall.
Exam analysis of General Awareness section
Number of questions
- There were 25 questions in the section on General Awareness.
Level of difficulty
- The question paper was was not very difficult for this section as various common questions were included.
Question pattern
- A lot of similar questions from previous year question papers have been included in the section of general awareness.
- This year, the question paper has focused mostly on areas like sports, important dates and other recent current affairs in this section.
- Among new questions, recent events have been included e.g. questions are included from banking, polity, economics.
Exam analysis of English language section
Number of questions
- This section consisted of 25 questions.
Level of difficulty
- The section on the English language was relatively easy. However, questions were of standard difficulty level.
Question pattern
- Questions were included from areas such as synonyms & antonyms, correct spelling detection, and close test.
