SSC CGL Analysis, Questions Asked, Answer Key: The third day of the Combined Graduate Level exam is scheduled on March 04, 2020 i.e. today. Unofficial answer keys based on memory of examinees are released by various individuals, experts, and academic consultants. In this article, we compile the memory based answer keys with the conclusion of each shift. Embedded videos containing solution to the questions of today’s shift are also included. In addition to the unofficial answer keys, we provide a detailed analysis of the exam for all shifts conducted today. Candidates can add memory based questions through the tool provided here and we will update the right answers.

Staff Selection Commission is conducting the Combined Graduate Level examination this year from March 02 to 11, 2020. The examination is conducted in three shifts on each day. Qualifying examinees are to be recruited into various Group B and Group C governmental posts.

SSC CGL Analysis Tier I – 04 March

The first shift of the SSC CGL 2020 exam held on March 04 has concluded as per schedule. From the information available of the paper in the first shift, here we provide a section wise detailed analysis of question paper. Read on till the end to know more about the paper including level of difficulty and pattern of question.

Exam analysis of Quantitative Aptitude section

Number of questions

  • There were 25 questions in total.

Level of difficulty

  • The level of difficulty of the question can be assessed to be between easy to moderate.
  • Advanced mathematics questions were only 4 to 5 in number.

Question pattern

  • A number of repetitive questions were encountered from previous shifts.
  • Questions were included from geometry related to angle calculation.
  • Triange based angle calculation questions were common across all the shifts.
  • The third shift was however easier compared to the first and second shift of the day.
  • A lot of questions were common from previous years with changes only in the values of the problem.
  • Common questions from previous shifts were also included from profit & loss section.
  • Time and distance questions were present in the question paper of the third shift.

Exam analysis of General Intelligence & Reasoning section

Number of questions

  • There were 25 questions in the General Intelligence & Reasoning section.

Level of difficulty

  • The overall level of difficulty was easy to moderate. This is because questions were repeated from last year.

Question pattern

  • Clock based questions were included in the question paper.
  • Dice based questions were included in addition to water and mirror image.
  • Figure counting, simplification (coded) were included.
  • Coded blood relation questions as similar to previous shifts were included.
  • Analogy and numerical series were included.

Exam analysis of General Awareness section

Number of questions

  • There were 25 questions in this section.

Level of difficulty

  • The overall level of difficulty of the question paper in this section was between easy to moderate for all the shifts of the day.

Question pattern

  • Maximum number of questions were from current affairs (12 to 13)
  • Question from very recent events such as Coronavirus were included
  • There were 2 to 3 question from history from Indian dynasties.
  • Questions are repetitive from the previous shifts.
  • In geography, questions are included mainly from world geography.
  • Common fact based questions were included from world organisations
  • Some unique GK questions were also included in the first shift.
  • In the second shift, questions are repeated from the previous shift.
  • Second shift question paper contained fact based questions fron international organisations.
  • Questions from Indian polity and geography are included in the second shift.
  • Combined questions from previous shifts are included in the second shift of March 04, 2020 exam.
  • Questions were included from dance forms of India.
  • General awareness section contained questions from Biology.
  • Questions were included from UNESCO World Heritage Sites located in India.
  • Questions have been asked from organisations in the third shift.
  • Most recent international and sports events have been included in this section.
  • In the third shift, questions have been asked from history related to the Mughal dynasty.

Exam analysis of English Language section

Number of questions

  • There were 25 questions in the English language section

Level of difficulty

  • The overall level of difficulty is between easy to moderate.
  • The level of difficulty of the question paper was easier in the second shift for the English section.
  • The level of the questions in this section was easy in the third shift as well.

Question pattern

  • Questions were included from idioms and phrases. Common questions were encountered in this part.
  • In the second shift, common questions from the first shift were included in large numbers.
  • Synonym and antonym based questions were common in all of the shifts.
  • Close test is mostly grammar based on the first shift exam.
  • Incorrectly spelled questions have been included.
  • Error detection questions have also been included in the question paper.
  • Conditional sentences were included in the question paper.
  • Easy direct & indirect and active & passive voice were also included.
  • Questions have been included from one-word substitution.
