Exam analysis of Quantitative Aptitude section
Number of questions
- There were 25 questions in the quantitative aptitude section.
Level of difficulty
- The overall level of difficulty of the maths question paper was moderate.
Question pattern
- Simple angle calculation and trigonometric value calculation based on right angled triangle was asked.
- Tricky questions from height & distance were asked in the first shift.
- Ratio/proportion-based questions were asked in the first shift. Variable were combined with ratio-proportion questions.
- Questions from time and distance were asked where values were in fractions.
- A unique but simple question was asked from isoceles triangle.
- Questions were included from profit and loss in the second shift.
- Questions related to triangles (angle calculation) were asked.
- Questions were asked about trigonometric values and tables.
- Questions related to volume of spheres and surface area were asked in the mensuration section in the second shift.
Exam analysis of General Intelligence & Reasoning section
Number of questions
- There were 25 questions in the reasoning section.
Level of difficulty
- The level of difficulty of the GI & Reasoning section was between moderate to difficult.
Question pattern
- Questions related to Venn diagrams were asked in the first shift.
- Questions were asked from number series. This has been repeated in almost all the shifts and all days of the 2020 examination.
- 03 questions were based on analogy. GK and number based analogy was included.
Exam analysis of General Awareness section
Number of questions
- There were 25 questions in the General Awareness section.
Level of difficulty
- The level of difficulty of the General Awareness section was between easy to moderate.
- The level of the paper in the second shift was moderate.
Question pattern
- Questions were asked from history and Indian polity.
- Simple biology and chemistry-based questions were common like previous shifts.
- Dates related questions were asked about international events of importance.
- Questions were asked from Oscar awards.
- Sports-related questions were asked such as the Olympics in the first shift.
- Author name of famous novels were asked in the second shift.
- Questions were included about political figures from Indian states.
- Questions about Indian rivers were also asked in the second shift.
- Questions about Mughal dynasties were asked as in previous shifts.
- Questions were also asked from the ranking of India in global indices.
- Sports related questions from the Olympics were common in the second shift.
- Questions were asked about dance forms and art of Indian states.
- Article related questions were also common in the second shift.
Exam analysis of English comprehension section
Number of questions
- There were 25 questions in the English comprehension section.
Level of difficulty
- The level of difficulty of the question paper was easy in the English section.
Question pattern
- Simple idioms were included in the question paper.
- Cloze test was based on the ill effects of construction to the environment.
- Simple synoyms and antonyms were asked in the first shift. Synonym of “eradicate” and “solemn” were asked.
- Spelling error detection has remained common similar to other shifts.
- Narration based questions were asked.
- The cloze test in the second shift was based on Education.
- Simple synonyms were asked such as exceed and abort.
- Common antonyms and idioms were also included.
