SSC CHSL 2018 Eligibility Criteria, Age Limit

SSC CHSL 2018 Eligibility Criteria- SSC CHSL Exam 2018 is going to be conducted by the SSC Board to recruit candidates after they appear for their senior secondary examination. Those candidates who have given (10+2) Exam and wants to appear for SSC CHSL Exam can apply for the same. The Application process for CHSL Tier-I exam will start from January 19, 2019. The candidates will require to visit the official website to fill the SSC CHSL 2018 Application Form. Candidates who are going to apply must check SSC CHSL 2018 Eligibility Criteria. Only those candidates who satisfy the SSC CHSL 2018 Eligibility Criteria are eligible to apply. Applicants can find the detailed eligibility criteria from the page given below.

SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2018

You are eligible to appear in SSC 10+2 Exam 2018 only if you fulfil eligibility criteria. Although Eligibility criteria for the examination 2018 have not been released yet here you can find the expected eligibility criteria given below which is according to Previous year’s eligibility criteria.

Candidates need to clarify these three standards in order to be eligible:

  • Nationality Basis
  • Age Basis
  • Educational Qualification Basis

Nationality

The candidate applying must be

(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who settled in India permanently before Ist January 1962
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Candidates from (b), (c), (d) and (e) category shall be able to produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Age Relaxation
Candidate should be between 18 to 27 years old as on 01 January 2019. This means that candidate should not be born before 02 Jan 1990 or later than 01 Jan 2000. Candidates can find the Age relaxation as per the last year from the window given below.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
  • For Data Entry Operator in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India
    (C&AG): 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a
    recognized Board or equivalent.

Insofar, only Application form dates of Tier-I 2018 CHSL Examination has been announced. Other details on this page is as per the last year’s brochure and for reference purpose only. As soon as the official notification releases, details will be updated here.
