Salary for SSC CPO Recruitment 2017
- Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs : Central Armed Police Forces.The candidates will receive the amount of in pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35400-112400/-). This category is classified as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial post.
- Sub Inspector (Executive) – (Male/ Female) in Delhi Police: The selected candidates will receive the amount as per their pay scale which lies in Level-6 (Rs.35400-112400/-). This post is classified as Group ‘C’(Non-Gazetted) by Delhi Police post.
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (Executive) in CISF: The selected candidates will receive the amount as per their pay scale decided for this post which is in Level-5 (Rs.29200-92300). This category of post is classified as Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted).

All the applicants who are interested in applying for the various posts will be required to pay a certain amount of money in order to complete the application process. The application process is an integrated system. Therefore, without the payment the application will not be registered. The required amount is Rs. 100/- for the completion of application fee for the SSC CPO Recruitment process. The payment can be paid using SBI Challan or SBI Net banking or through credit/ debit cards of any bank.
Some categories of people such as Women candidates, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and ExServicemen who are eligible for the post are exempted from making payment.
Please note that fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Physical Standards Test (PST) / Physical Endurance Test (PET) / Medical Examination
Only those candidates who secure qualifying marks in Paper I of the written examination, as may be fixed by the Commission at their discretion, will be shortlisted for Physical Endurance Test (PET)/ PST and medical test. Paper II of shortlisted candidates who qualify in PST / PET will only be evaluated.
Physical Efficiency (Endurance) Test (PET)
For male candidates only
- 100 meters race in 16 seconds
- 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
- Long Jump : 3.65 metres in 3 chances
- High Jump : 1.2 metres in 3 chances
- Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metres in 3 chances
For female candidates only
- 100 metres race in 18 seconds
- 800 metres race in 4 minutes
- Long Jump: 2.7 metres (9 feet) in 3 chances.
- High Jump : 0.9 metres (3 feet) in 3 chances.
The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses. The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Physical Endurance Test will not carry any marks, its will be of qualifying nature.
Age required= 20- 25 years. Age limit is one of the factors that every candidate wants to make sure that young and active young candidates are elected for the post. Therefore the examination body has invited the candidates from age group of 20 years to 25 years for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFs and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISFs. Not only that there are some exceptions too. To provide equal opportunity for all the candidates, SSC has decided to allow some category of applicants crossing the above mentioned criteria. This is known as upper age relaxation.

SSC is issuing the admit card online for the Central Police Organization Examination. No candidate will be sent the hall ticket through post-medium.
The Admit Card will serve as your entry pass in the exam hall where the venue allotted to you is located. It also functions as your Identity Proof. Candidates must produce their SSC CPO 2017 Admit Card whenever demanded, on the basis of which candidates will be allowed to the enter exam. The SSC CPO-SI Paper Consists of two papers:-
Paper-I:- Paper 1 consists of questions from the following topics:-
- General Intelligence and Reasoning (50 questions, 50 marks),
- General Knowledge and General Awareness (50 questions, 50 marks),
- Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions, 50 marks) and
- English Comprehension (50 questions,50 marks)
Paper-I consists of 200 questions in total. 50 questions from each topic of 200 marks and the time duration allowed within which the candidates must finish the task is 2 hours.
Paper-II:- Paper-2 Consists of 200 questions from English Language & Comprehension of 200 marks and the time duration is 2:00 hours.
SSC CPO 2017 Answer Key
After the exam has been conducted successfully by SSC for SSC CPO SI, the Contestants of the SSC CPO SI Delhi Police Exam will be able to download Set-Wise Answer key which will be released officially on the website of SSC CPO SI Delhi Police Exam. It will help the aspirants to estimate the marks they might score in the exam. Answer key is an important medium by which a candidate may avail a fair idea and suggest the estimate result. However, the answer key is only a review of the marks. This list is not a perfect result. The exact result can only be estimated when the result is out.
