Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will announce the SSC GD Result 2018. SSC will release the result in three phases. In the first phase of SSC GD Constable, 2018 will be announced after the PET / PST, after the written exam, and after medical examination. SSC GD Constable Result 2018 and Marks

Recruitment to the posts of Constable (GD) in, BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, NIA and SSF and Rifleman in Assam Rifles is on the basis of SSC GD Constable Results. There are a number of vacancies to be filled through this recruitment. To check the SSC GD Constable Result 2018, Candidates have to follow some steps.

  • The page will ask for Roll no, Date of Exam and password.
  • Now enter the credentials and click on the submit button.
  • The result page will open. Now you can take a printout of the result page.

SSC GD Constable Result- PST / PET

Either a list indicating roll number wise / name wise status of having qualifying the PET / PST are being released. Or candidates have been given the facility to log in using Registration ID and DOB to check their results. Either way, the candidate must know his / her Registration details to check the SSC GD Constable Result 2018.

Physical Efficiency Test

The following benchmarks have to be fulfilled in order to qualify for the SSC GD Constable Result 2018 of PST / PET.

SSC GD Constable Result – Written Examination

After conduction of the PET / PST, the selected candidates have to appear for the Written Examination. The PET / PST results will be declared regional wise and other updates can be seen at the regional SSC websites. Based on performance in the written examination, candidates will be shortlisted and their details indicated in the Result of SSC GD Constable 2018. We will update the link on this page, to check the result for Written examination as Commission will declare the result.

SSC GD Constable Result – Medical Test

After the conduct of Medical Examination, Commission will release the result for Medical Test. The primary purpose of conducting the Medical Test is to test the Medical fitness of a candidate. When a candidate is found medically fit they will be considered for merit list. Then, the Commission will prepare merit list for Selected candidates. SSC GD Merit List

The Commission will prepare the final merit list of candidates category wise and state-wise without making any force allocation. Force allocation will be done by Nodal CRPF/MHA and the final result will also be declared by them.

SSC GD Cut Off: The minimum cut off percentage of marks for selection will normally be as under :

  • General and Ex-servicemen: 35%
  • SC/ST/OBC : 33%.

The Commission will process and declare the result of written examination and list of candidates shortlisted for Detailed Medical Examination (DME) will be given to MHA/Co-ordinating CAPF i.e. CRPF.

MHA/CRPF will issue call letters and conduct DME and Review Medical Examination (RME).

Collection of documents from the candidates and their verification will be done by the CAPFs during DME.

After the conduct of RME/DME, the Commission will process and declare the final list of selected candidates state-wise without making Force allocation.

Based on such merit list declared by SSC, the MHA/ CRPF will make force allocation, etc. and declare the result.

SSC GD 2018 Tie Case Resolution

After the declaration of final result if two candidates have same marks then this is the case of a tie. The commission will refer total marks in the written examination to resolve the tie.

  • If a candidate is having more marks in the written examination would get preference over the candidate who has lesser marks.
  • If a tie still persists then the candidate who has more marks in Part A would be given the reference.
  • Further, if a tie still persists then Commission will prefer the older candidate.
  • If still, tie persists then to resolve it finally, Commission will consider the alphabetical order of Candidate’s names.
