SSC JE 2017 recruitment has ended on June 22, 2018. The final result for SSC JE 2017 has been announced on October 15, 2018. The final result is available in the pdf format and the candidates can access the same from this page. As of for now, only the final result has been published online, the marks of the candidates will be uploaded on the SSC official website shortly. On June 30, 2018, it released the admit card for document verification. The selected candidates appeared on the said centers for documnet verification. There were two stages called papers in the entire recruitment process. The candidates who cleared all the exams were selected finally for Junior Engineer Post.

SSC JE 2017 Application Form
SSC JE 2017 Application Form has been released on October 21, 2017. Candidates can refer to the above table of important dates. It is critical to submit SSC JE Online Application Form 2017 before last date.
Application fee: Rs 100
However, if you are a female applicant, or belong to SC / ST / PH / ExS, then you need not pay any fee at all.
Key instructions for SSC JE 2017 Application Form
- Mode of filling SSC JE 2017 Application Form is online.
- Candidate must not try to fill any other form in offline mode.
- You need to upload a recent colour photograph with light (preferably white) background. At least 80% of the photograph should have your face.
- Carefully enter all details asked in SSC JE 2017 Application Form. Data once entered cannot be changed.
SSC JE 2017 Admit Card
Staff Selection Commission issues SSC JE 2017 Admit Card in online mode. You will get admit card to appear in SSC Junior Engineer 2017 exam to be held from January 22 to 29, 2018, (Paper 1) only if you had submitted application form successfully. Date of availability of admit card is two weeks prior to the exam. However, each regional / sub-regional office of SSC may choose to release admit cards on separate dates, around this time only. If there is any concern in SSC JE 2017-2018 Admit Card, then you must contact the regional / sub-regional office.
Note: SSC JE 2017 Admit Card will not be available by post.

SSC JE 2017 Eligibility
A candidate must fulfil eligibility criteria of SSC JE 2017-2018. Only then must he/she apply. Following are eligibility conditions for Junior Engineer.
Nationality: Candidate should be either citizen of India, or subject of Nepal, or subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India.

SSC JE 2017-18 Result
The result for SSC JE 2017-18 has been published online on the official website of the Commission at ssc.nic.in. The result is available in pdf format. Candidates who appeared for the SSC JE 2017 Recruitment exam can check their result by opening the pdf format and finding their roll number and name. The Commission has published the merit list for both the paper i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. However, the final result will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in Paper 1 and Paper 2. Based on the ranks and post preferences, candidates will be allotted into various departments.
Probation Period
Candidates, who will be appointed on the basis of this examination, shall be on probation for a period of two years and during the period of probation, the candidates would be required to undergo such training or pass such examinations as prescribed by the Controlling Authority. On successful completion of the period of probation, the candidates shall, if considered fit for permanent appointment, be confirmed to their post by the Controlling Authority.
