SSC JE 2018 Exam – Staff Selection Commission conducts many examinations for the recruitment of the graduates in many departments in the ministry of India. SSC JE 2018 Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must fulfil eligibility criteria of SSC JE 2018. Only then must he/she apply. Following are eligibility conditions for Junior Engineer.
Nationality: Candidate should be either citizen of India,
or subject of Nepal, or subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India.
The candidate should be between 18 to 32 years. The age relaxation policy set by the government rules are also applicable here.
A candidate must possess either degree or Diploma in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
SSC JE 2018 Application Form
The application form for the SSC JE 2018 will be made available by the SSC on the official website, near the dates. Then interested candidates need to apply for the post whichever preferred by the candidates. The application form should be filled before the last date with a requisite amount of fee. The candidates can fill the form through the application form page. Or they can get it by visiting the official website.
SSC JE 2018 Admit Card
The admit card for the SSC JE exam 2018 will be released for Paper 1 & 2 Separately. To clear the scenario, it is important to mention here that, the candidates who will succeed to fill the application form they will get the admit card for Paper 1 & 2. Both admit card will be made available by the Commission on the official website. Or they can do the same form the direct link provided on the “Admit Card” page.
SSC JE 2018 Examination Scheme
As said above there will be two papers. The candidates who will clear the paper I will have to appear in paper II. Paper-I will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice questions only. Candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of performance in Paper –I will be called for Paper-II (Conventional Type). Candidates are allowed to bring their own Slide–Rule, Calculator, Logarithm Tables and Steam Table for Paper-II only. They are not allowed to use such aids for Paper-I. The candidates
SSC JE 2018 Answer Key
SSC JE 2018 Answer Key will be released after the successful completion of the Examination. Staff Selection Commission will release the answer key after the examination. The board will publish the answer keys on the official website of Staff Selection Commission.The examination of SSC JE will consist of two papers. The paper 1 will be objective type and paper 2 is a conventional written examination. Answer key for only Paper 1 will be released by the SSC. The answer key is an important document as it helps candidates to predict the scores along with the correct solutions. The candidates can check the answer key on the official website, or they can do the same from “Answer Key ” page.
SSC JE 2018 Result
The result for SSC JE will be published online on the official website of the Commission at ssc.nic.in. The result will be available in pdf format. Candidates who will appear for the SSC JE Recruitment exam can check their result by opening the pdf format and finding their roll number and name. The Commission will publish the merit list for both the paper i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. However, the final result will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in Paper 1 and Paper 2. Based on the ranks and post preferences, candidates will be allotted to various departments.
Probation after Selection
After final result, the selection of the candidates will be done by the recruitment authority. The candidates will be appointed during the probation period of two years. During the probation period, the candidates need to clear the examination conducted by the authority, After successful completion of the probation period the if the performance of the candidates will be up to mark then he/she would be appointed permanently.
