  1. General Intelligence: Semantic, Symbolic, Figural and Number Analogy, Symbolic operations, Venn Diagrams, etc.
  2. General Awareness: Questions on the geographical, cultural, economic, social, and political background of India and its neighboring countries are asked.
  3. Quantitative Aptitude: Arithmetic, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Statistics, etc.
  4. English Language: Synonyms, Antonyms, Spelling, Active/Passive voice, etc.
  • Graduation level
  1. General Intelligence: Critical thinking, Embedded Figures, Decoding and classification, etc. 
  2. General Awareness: Questions on the geographical, cultural, economic, social, and political background of India and its neighboring countries are asked.
  3. Quantitative Aptitude: Sphere, Degree and Radian Measures, Hemispheres, etc.
  4. English Language: Comprehension, Writing ability, etc.

SSC Selection Post Phase 9 Exam Pattern 2022

  • Type of paper: Multiple-choice paper.
  • Subjects: General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language
  • Total number of questions: 100 questions.
  • Maximum marks: 200 marks.

  4. Solve questions type-wise first with the help of solved papers, then move on to mocks.
  • General Awareness
  1. Don’t refer to too many reference books. Stick to a few books like Lucent’s GK book.
  2. Spend 1-2 hours daily on practicing this section of the exam.
  3. Stay up-to-date about current affairs from the last 6-8 months.
  • General Intelligence
  1. Make your own formulas for solving questions.
  2. Solve jumbled sentences.
  3. Attempt Kiran’s paper set for reasoning.
  4. Analyze the pattern of questions that have appeared in previous year papers and focus on topics with more weightage (number series, analogy, etc.)
