Tamil Nadu Medical Services Recruitment Board has published a notification, inviting applications for the MRB TN Recruitment 2017 for the post of Assistant Medical Officer in Homoeopathy, Ayurveda, and Siddha. MRB TN Assistant Medical Officer Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria are as below:

- Educational Qualification
Diploma/PG Diploma/Degree in the relevant disciplines of Siddha, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, from a recognized institute/university including Dr.M.G.R. Medical University of Tamil Nadu.
AND
The candidate must have registered his / her name with the following:
- Central Board of Indian Medicine
- Tamil Nadu Siddha Medical Council, Chennai – For the post of Assistant Medical Officer Siddha.
- Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine, Chennai – For the post of Assistant Medical Officer, Ayurveda
- Tamil Nadu Homoeopathy Council – for the post of Assistant Medical Officer, Homeopathy
MRB TN Recruitment 2017 Application Form
Candidates first need to log on to the Medical Services Recruitment Board’s website http://www.mrb.tn.gov.in. The application will be available online only. Candidates need to enter details such as name of the post, Mobile Number, Email ID, academic details, etc in the online application. Also you will need to upload a scanned copy of the colour photograph and a scanned copy of the signature as per the prescribed specifications. Applicants should note that online application will be incomplete without the Photograph and scanned copy of Signature upload. Applicant shall not send copies of certificates / printed application to MRB.

The examination fee can be paid either through online mode or by offline mode.

MRB TN Recruitment 2017 Admit Card/ Hall ticket
The Admit Card/ Hall Tickets for the eligible candidates will be made available on the Board’s official website http://www.mrb.tn.gov.in for download. No Hall Tickets shall be sent by post to the candidates. paste a recent passport size colour photograph on the appropriate box. Candidates will receive intimation regarding the availability of hall ticket for download through the registered email ID / SMS to the registered mobile number. It will be mandatory for test takers to bring the admit card to appear for the test.
MRB TN Recruitment 2017 Examination Pattern
The question paper will be set in Tamil language only and will contain 200 objective questions each. There will be no negative mark for the incorrect answer. The exam will be duration of 2:30 hours.
MRB TN Recruitment 2017 Result
MRB TN Recruitment 2017 Result for the post of Assistant Medical Officer will be published online on the official site of the Board. The candidates will be selected for the post on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination. The selected candidates will then have to appear for certificate/ document verification round along with all the prescribed documents.
Minimum Marks to Qualify the Written Test
For SC/SCA/ST, candidates need to obtain at least 30% and for other candidates, 35% will be the minimum qualifying marks to qualify the written exam.
