The conducting authority “Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission” has released the official notification regarding the entrance exam for the post of Assistant Engineer (Agricultural Engineering). You can fill the application forms online. Primarily, register yourself and pay the required application fee towards One-Time Registration which will be valid for 5 years from the day of registration. Who can Apply?
Category: Only SC/ SC(A) and ST categories can fill TNPSC AE 2017 application form.
Age Limit: Candidates should adhere to lower age limit of 18 years.
Educational Qualification: B.E. (Agriculture) or B. Tech (Agricultural Engineering) or B.Sc., (Agricultural Engineering). If enough candidates of these are not available then B.E. (Mechanical / Civil / Automobile Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering) will also be considered.
Knowledge in Tamil: Ensure efficient knowledge in Tamil before filling application form of TNPSC AE 2017 Agricultural Engineering.
Application Fee
The aspirants are required to make the payment of Rs.150/- towards the “One -Time Registration Fee”. Those who have already paid the fee of Rs.50/- before 01st March 2017 are exempted from paying the registration fee for the recruitment.

How to fill TNPSC AE 2017 Application Form?
The Application Forms can be filled only through online mode. Go through the eligibility criteria mentioned on top before applying for it.
Step-1: Reach the official website. Primarily, visit the official Commission’s Website.
Step 2: One Time Registration. On the homepage, click on “One Time Registration” option.
Next, if you have already registered click on “Already One Time Registered Candidates” or else click on “New User” if you are yet to register.
Step 3: TNPSC Online Registration Portal (New Users)
If you want to register, follow the steps mentioned below-
Personal Details: Enter the following details-
- Name
- Father’s Name
- Date of Birth
- S.S.L.C.Register Number
- S.S.L.C Month and Year of Passing
- S.S.L.C. Education Board
Communication Details: Fill in the following details-
- Email ID
- Mobile Number
- Login Id
- Password
After entering the above details, click on “Submit” to conclude the TNPSC Registration.
Step 4: Login to open the Application Form
Login Details: Next. you will receive the Login ID and Password on the registered email-id and mobile number.
Applicant Login: Enter the login details-

In case of forgotten password
Click on “Forgot Password” mentioned in the above image.
Forgot/ Change Password: Fill in the following details to set a new password-
- Login ID
- Date of Birth
- Registered Email ID
- Registered Mobile Number
Click on “Submit”
In case of forgotten Login ID
Click on “Forgot Login ID”. Enter the following details to generate your ID-
- Date of Birth
- S.S.L.C. Register Number
- Registered Email ID
- Registered Mobile Number
Click on “Submit”.
Step 5: Fill the Application Form
The successful registration will guide you to the application form. You are required to select the desired post or service.
Upload the specified documents: Now, upload the necessary documents with the specified data.

Enter the specified details in the appropriate fields. Enter the following particulars-
- Name of the Applicant
- Post applied
- Educational Qualifications(Name of Institute, Year of passing, Aggregate%, etc.)
- Communal Category
- Date of Birth(DD/MM/YYYY)
- Address(Permanent Address, Pin-code, city,etc.)
- Email ID
- Centre of Examination(Preferred Centre)

Step 6: Payment of Application Fee: After you have filled the details in the application form, you can choose any one method out of the following to make the payment-
- Net-Banking
- Debit Card/ Credit-Card
- Remittance through Bank Challan
- Remittance through Post Office Challan
Select the option of payment and Bank Name and Click on “Click to Pay”.
Online Mode Payment- You can submit the fee through net banking or Debit Card/ Credit card. Proceed to the payment gateway to enter the payment details to wrap the application process.
Note: In case, there is payment failure, then, the fee debited will be reverted to the candidate’s account.
Offline Mode Payment: Generate the Bank-challan and take the printout of it. Then, visit the nearest branch of State Bank of India to complete the application process.
Step 7: Print the One-Time Registration Slip
Once the application form is complete, go through the page to rule out the mistakes and then save it in PDF format. Now, take the printout of one-time registration slip for future reference.
