TNPSC Group 2: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has released the official notification for the Combined Civil Service Exam for the recruitment to Group 2 posts on the official website (tnpsc.gov.in) of the Commission on 23 February 2022. The last date for submission of online applications is 23rd March 2022. The Preliminary exam will be held on 21 May 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the date of the Main written exam will be declared after the declaration of the Prelims Exam Results. TNPSC Group 2
The TNPSC Group Examination scheme includes the Prelims, the Mains, and the Oral Test (Interview+Counseling) for Interview posts and the Prelims and the Mains for Non-Interview posts. The Prelim Exam is a screening exam for admission into the Mains Exam in both cases. There are a total of 116 vacancies for Interview Posts and 5413 vacancies for Non-Interview Posts.

TNPSC Group 2 Exam Pattern
Candidates need to have an idea about the Exam Pattern to sit for the Prelims Exam in May 2022. It is to be noted that the Prelims Exam Pattern is the same for both Interview and Non-Interview posts. For the purpose of helping the candidates, the exam pattern for the TNPSC Prelims Written Exam is given below:

Candidates are given the option to choose either General Tamil or General English for answering the first 100 questions apart from answering the second (75+25) 100 questions on General Studies, Aptitude, and Mental Ability Test. The questions on General Studies will be set both in English and Tamil and the questions on General Tamil / General English will be set in the respective languages.
