UGC NET 2018 July Highlights
As we all know the exam was over, and the result has declared for the UGC NET July 2018. Now we have come with the highlights of this session of UGC NET result. Largest Number of Candidates Qualified Ever
This year the result has shown many ups and downs, Cut off marks rolled down and the resulting effect on the number of NET qualified candidates. A total 55,872 candidates qualified University Grant Commission NET Exam, this is the largest number of candidates qualified ever for UGC NET 2018. While 3,929 candiadtes cleared for the JRF.
CBSE Complied The UGC Result Only in Three Weeks
Last year a total of 38, 000 candidates were qualified for Lectureship. In the history of UGC NET conducted by CBSE, this is the first time when CBSE complied the result in a very short notice. Till now, the result compilation took up 2 or 3 months. But this time CBSE concluded it in the span of three weeks. The exam conducted on July 08, 2018, and result declared on July 31, 2018.
Cut Off Rolled Down
The highest cut off marks are 76 for Parsi language in UGC NET July. In the January session, the highest cut off marks are 78.29 for Arab Culture and Islamic subject. The overall cut off is also low. CBSE releases the cut off category-wise. The lengthy paper is the reason behind the low cut off marks.

Last UGC NET By CBSE
Many of aspirants of UGC NET must be aware of the new conducting body of UGC NET. The National Eligibility Test (NET) will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) now onwards. In addition to that, NTA made some changes to the exam. We will discuss that in the next section.
About UGC NET with New Conducting Body
National Testing Agency will replace itself with CBSE and will being the conducting body of UGC NET Dec 2018. The dates have been declared by the NTA. The aspirants will able to fill the application form from September 01 to 30, 2018. The exam will be held on 02, 08, 09, 15, & 16 Dec 2018 (02 shift per day).
Upcoming Changes in UGC NET Dec
NTA has changed the exam mode which was offline pen paper based earlier, now it is online computer based. The candidates will have to choose the preferred slot for taking the exam. As the exam will take place on the weekends only. Hence the candidates who are employed can choose the suitable day for the exam.
