How to Estimate UGC NET Scores?
After the UGC NET papers have been conducted, the commission releases the provisional answer key before the final answer key on its official website.
However, candidates can estimate their UGC NET Scores by following this pattern:
For Paper I:
- Refer to the official website and download the provisional answer key. Match your answers with the provisional answer key.
- If the answer key is of Paper I, there will be 50 questions. Each question will be of +2 marks. Since there is no negative marking so no marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
- Follow this formula: Correct answers you obtained × Marks of correct answers (+2 marks) = Final Score.
For Paper II:
- Refer to the official website and download the provisional answer key. Match your answers with the provisional answer key.
- If the answer key is of Paper II, there will be 100 questions. Each question will be of +2 marks. Since there is no negative marking so no marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
- Follow this formula: Correct answers you obtained × Marks of correct answers (+2 marks) = Final Score.
Paper I consists of 100 marks, and Paper II consists of 200 marks. (Overall the Paper I & II will be of 100+200= 300 Marks.)
