UGC NET Answer Key
The UGC NET 2020 exam is scheduled to be held in dual shifts on each exam day. While the first shift starts at 09.00 AM and ends at 12.00 PM, the second shift starts at 03.00 PM and ends at 06.00 PM on each exam day.

UGC NET 2020 Shift 2 exam today on September 25, 2020 is over now. As per unofficial sources the overall level of difficulty of the paper was between easy to moderate. - Majority of the questions were from Teaching Aptitude section
- Both the sections of Teaching Aptitude, Research Aptitude were of moderate difficulty level.

The first shift of the UGC NET 2020 exam on September 25, 2020, is over. Analysing the question paper as per unofficial sources, the paper was relatively easy compared to the Day 1 exam. Level of Difficulty
- The overall level of difficulty of the exam was moderate.
Number of Questions
- About 10-12 questions of moderate difficulty level was asked from the topic of Teaching Aptitude.
- Number of questions asked in the Research Aptitude section were comparatively lesser.
- Around 5 to 6 questions of moderate difficulty level was asked from the topic of Research Aptitude.
- 2 to 4 questions of easy to moderate difficulty level was asked from the topic of Communication
- 6 to 8 questions of easy to moderate difficulty level was asked from the topic of Reasoning.
- 5 questions of easy to moderate difficulty level was asked in the Reading Comprehension section.
Exam Analysis
- The maximum number of questions in the first shift exam was from the topic of Teaching Aptitude.
- Reasoning part consisted of a fair share of Mathematical Reasoning based questions of easy to the moderate difficulty level.
- Statement type questions were asked in the first shift.
- The shift 1 question paper included conceptual questions based on understanding and analysis
- Types of Research, Hypothesis, Processing questions were asked in Research Aptitude part
- Easy difficulty level questions on school expenses were asked in DI section.
- Classroom communication-based questions were asked in the communication section
- Decimal to Binary conversion, start-up routine, full form of IoT etc. was asked in the ICT section.
Marking Scheme of UGC NET 2020
Consisting of an all objective type question paper, the UGC NET 2020 exam is conducted as a Computer Based Test across various centres throughout the country. Candidates have to complete two papers i.e. Paper 1 & 2 in a duration of 03 hours only.
Paper 1, which is common to all and based on general teaching & research aptitude carries 50 questions. On the other hand, Paper 2, which is subject-specific carry 100 questions. Check out the marking scheme below.
