UGC NET 2021 Marking scheme
The UGC NET is a computer-based test that is administered online (CBT). The exam consists of two papers, each of which must be completed in three hours. Papers 1 and 2 both have objective-type questions, and candidates must attempt questions from both papers. For each correct answer in the UGC NET exam, two marks are granted. About UGC NET
The National Testing Agency administers the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), a national level exam. The exam takes place twice a year, in June and December. The UGC NET is used to select eligible applicants for positions such as ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘JRF and Assistant Professor.’ To regularise the conduct of the examination, NTA has decided to conduct a combined examination for UGC NET in December 2020 and June 2021. Those who clear the examination shall also receive an e-certificate which they can use to apply for Assistant Professor an JRF & Assistant Professor post.
