The UGC NET exam 2020 takes place in two shifts – Shift 1 is conducted from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Shift 2 is conducted from 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM.

- 05-06 question from teaching aptitude.
- 06-07 questions were from research aptitude.

Marking Scheme of UGC NET 2020
The examination for UGC NET 2020 is conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is designed to assess the teaching knowledge and research aptitude of the candidates. Whereas Paper 2 consists of questions from the subjects opted by the candidate.
