Educational Qualification – Candidates have passed in Intermediate exam or its equivalent from the recognized Board.
Selection Process – Candidates who have applied for the Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (UPJN) Recruitment 2016-17 for Routine Clerk and Stenographer post will be selected on the basis of Written Exam and Personal Interview.

UPJN 2016 – 2017 Routine Clerk, Stenographer Eligibility Criteria
- For Routine Clerk : Candidates should have passed 12th Board from any recognized Board or its equivalent and typing speed in Hindi and English 25 and 30 wpm on Computer.
- For Steno : Candidates should have passed 12th Board from any recognized Board or its equivalent and Steno speed in Hindi 80 wpm. (Candidates should have complete the 5 min dictation in steno at computer)
- Nationality : Indian
Age Limit – Candidate should have complete their age of 18 years but not more than 40 years as on 01.08.2016 means candidates born before 02.08.1976 and born after 01.08.1998 is not eligible to apply.

In second stage of exam candidates will be go through the typing test (including steno test). Exam will be done on Laptop or Desktop computer.
In third stage of exam candidates will be called for the Personal Interview held by Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam Authority.
UPJN 2016 – 2017 Routine Clerk, Stenographer Selection Process
Candidates who have filled their application and have downloaded their Admit Card from the official website will be eligible to appear in the examination held by UPJN.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of following stages.
- Written Examination
- Typing Test / Steno Test
- Personal Interview
All the candidates are mandatory to appear in the Written Examination as per schedule date. After the successful conduction of UPJN 2016-17 written examination, qualified candidates will be called for Steno Test/Typing Test.
After the Test UPJN Authority prepare the merit list of the selected candidates who will be secure the min qualifying marks prescribed by Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam will be called for the Personal Interview. This is the final stage of Recruitment process after this candidates have to join the organisation and submit the documents for verification.
