Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final result of UPSC CAPF 2018 on the official website, upsc.gov.in. The written examination result was announced on January 14, 2019. UPSC CAPF Result 2018
The UPSC has declared the result of the written examination at upsc.gov.n. The candidates who have qualified the examination have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test. For this, they have to fill the Detailed Application Form. They need to register themselves before filling the DAF on the website. Only registered candidates will be issued the admit card for the PET.
UPSC CAPF Admit Card 2018
UPSC has issued the CAPF Admit Card 2018 on the official website. The candidates can download by visiting the official website, by submitting the Registration Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth. Admit Card has been released after the successful completion of the application form. The candidates will have to carry instruction page with the admit card on the exam day. Else, they will not be able to enter the exam hall.

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian Nationals to apply for the post.
Sex: Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for the post of Assistant Commandants
Age Limit – A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on 1st August 2018, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1993 and not later than 1st August 1998.

UPSC CAPF Application Form
Application Form for UPSC CAPF 2018 released online at the official website. Candidates could fill application forms by visiting the official website of UPSC. Candidates who filled the application form must have ensured their eligibility before filling the application form. The application form must have been filled on or before its last date. Any request after that was not been entertained by the Commission.
Application Fee
UPSC released the application form on upsc.gov.in. The candidates filled the frm online. Apart from that, no other mode was available to fill the form. To complete the form the candidates except for Female/SC/ST candidates had to pay the amount of Rs. 200/-. These candidates are exempted to pay the fee. There were two modes introduced for submitting the application fee
- Offline: Depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or
- Online: Using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.

UPSC CAPF 2018 Selection Process
The Selection Procedure for shortlisting the candidates for the completion of the recruitment will be as follows:
(I) Written Examination:- The written examination will be conducted by Union Public Service Commission. The paper will comprise of two papers.
Paper I: The exam will consist of questions from General Ability and Intelligence of total 250 Marks. The questions will be Objective Type meaning Multiple choice questions. There will be multiple options and the candidate has to pick the best possible answer. The question paper will be set in English as well as Hindi.
Paper II: The exam will consist of questions from General Studies, Essay and Comprehension of total 200 Marks. Here the questions will be related to writing Essay Component in English or Hindi, but the medium of Precis Writing, Comprehension Components, and other communications/ language skills will be English only.
(ii) Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Test:-
This stage is called PST/PET test. Here the candidates declared qualified in the written examination will be summoned for Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests. Those candidates will be put through the Physical Efficiency Tests as indicated below :

(III) Interview – all the candidates who pass all these tests will be summoned for a personal interview with the officials. After satisfying the officials of the suitability for the post, the candidates will be recruited for the AC post. If you clear the exam and the result is shown in the list
Important Instructions
The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission at all the stages of examination for which they are admitted by the Commission viz. Written Examination, Physical and Medical Standards Tests and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Interview/ Personality Test will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If on verification at any time before or after the Written Examination, Physical and Medical Standards Tests, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Interview / Personality Test, it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature for the examination will be canceled by the Commission. It will consist of a total of 150 marks.
