Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) Exam annually. UPSC CAPF exam is for recruiting candidates as Assistant Commandants in several armed forces throughout the country. Qualified candidates will undergo Physical Efficiency/Physical Standard Tests and Interview. The UPSC CAPF includes a group of 7 Security Forces namely the Assam Rifles (AR), the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the National Security Guard (NSG), the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), and the Border Security Force (BSF).
