UPSC IAS 2022 Notification
The Union Public Service Commission of India (UPSC) has released the UPSC IAS 2022 notification on February 02, 2022. Along with the notification, the application procedure for the same has started. Applicants must visit the official website, upsc.gov.in to get the IAS notification PDF. Moreover, along with the IAS, UPSC is also releasing Indian Forest Services (IFS) notifications. There will be a common application form for IAS and IFS exam 2022.

The UPSC IAS 2022 application form releases via online mode, upsc.gov.in. As per the official schedule released by UPSC, the application process for the UPSC IAS exam shall commence with the release of official notification. Candidates must note that UPSCreleases a common application form for IAS and IFS examination. Moreover, while applying for IAS exam, applicants need to also pay ₹100 (General/EWS/OBC candidates). Female/SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from remitting the examination fee. Applicants can make payment of the application fee for UPSC IAS Exam 2022 via a SBI branch or online through net banking, credit card, or debit card. It is also notable that the application fee is non-refundable in any case.

- Mode of exam: Online
- Duration of exam: 2 hours for each paper
- Type of questions: The examination will be conducted in multiple choice question(MCQ) format.
- Total marks: 200 marks for each paper
- Number of questions: 100 for Paper 1 and 80 for Paper 2
- Marking scheme : 2 marks for every right answer in case of Paper I and 2.5 marks for every right answer in case of Paper 2 and ⅓ marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
