Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is an annual statewide examination held every year by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). UPTET Exam is conducted to shortlist teachers for both lower and upper primary level classes for the various schools within the state of Uttar Pradesh. This exam is conducted in two papers namely Paper I and Paper II. To qualify in UPTET examination, candidates belonging to general category need a minimum of 60% and SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories need a minimum of 55% marks.
