How To Check UTET 2018 Result?
Candidates can follow the steps given below for downloading the UTET 2018 Result. After downloading the result candidates should take the print out of it for future reference.

Minimum marks to be obtained by the candidates to be declared qualified in UTET 2018
Candidates who have appeared in the UTET Written examination must obtain a minimum percentage of marks in order to be declared qualified. The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has declared the minimum marks to be obtained by each candidate. So the marks to be achieved are as follows:-
- General category – 60%
- OBC/ PWD category- 50%
- SC/ST- 40%
Merely obtaining the minimum marks or clearing the cut off does not guarantee a job/ selection. TET is a part of the eligibility criteria for recruitment in state government schools.
Cut Off
Candidates are informed they can see the marks obtained in each subject and the status as Qualified or Not qualified. To be declared qualified, each candidate must obtain a minimum set of marks. The marks will be as follows:- 60% for General category – 60%, 50% for OBC/ PWD category candidates and 40% for SC/ST candidates.
Passing Certificates
The marks that are uploaded on the website are meant for providing immediate information only. The original Marksheet or passing certificate will be issued to candidates by Uttarakhand Board of School Education, Ramnagar, Nainital. In the passing certificate, information related to CANDIDATE’S NAME, FATHER’S NAME, DATE OF BIRTH, REGISTRATION NUMBER and description of MARKS OBTAINED in each subject. Candidates will not issue any other certificate for UTET qualified candidates.
Appearing in TET again
Any candidate can participate in UTET one or more than one time. In addition to that, a candidate looking forward to improving her marks in TET may also appear again. The certificate issued to the candidate is valid for a period of 7 years. If any candidate who has qualified UTET but do not get recruited at the post of Primary Teacher or Upper Primary teachers within a period of 7 years from certificate issue date, then the candidate will be required to appear for the test again. Candidates clearing the UTET will be eligible to apply for a job in all the schools of State.
Statistical Representation of UTET qualified candidates from year 2016
In 2016 UTET has held a total of 1,36,812 candidates appeared for the written test out of which, only 15,400 could get through the exam. Wherein, 11.19% candidates who have scored first division, while 11.32% scored second division in the TET. Last time, the number of candidates registered were around 1,46,538 candidates registered for Uttarakhand TET. somewhere near, 72,462 candidates registered for UTET-I out of which 67,703 appeared for the exam and only 7,574 candidates cleared it. While 74,076 aspirants registered for UTET level-II of which 69,109 sat in the exam and 7,826 candidates cleared it.

District Wise Result Analysis
The result analysis of UTET of the 3 districts has been indicated here as these were the ones that are more prominent in Uttarakhand and experienced more unstatic changes. In UTET level-I, 197 out of 1,532 candidates passed in Nainital district while in UTET-II, 92 out of 955 candidates passed the exam. From Haldwani district- 608 out of 5,929 passed the exam in UTET-I and in UTET-II 618 out of 6, 170 candidates passed the exam. From Ramnagar district 160 out of 1,769 candidates passed in UET-I and 166 out of 1,765 passed in UTET-II from Ramnagar.
