WB SET Exam Pattern 2021
Paper I focuses on 50 objective-type questions, each question carrying 2 marks. This exam is aimed to check the teaching skill and research approach of the candidate. It’s designed to test the power of reasoning, the divergence of thinking, and the general awareness of the candidate.
Paper 2 focuses on 100 objective-type questions, each question carrying 2 marks. All the questions are compulsory and will be from the selected topics of the candidate. The candidate will have to mark responses on the OMR Sheet. Check the WB SET exam pattern below:

About WB SET
West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC) organizes the West Bengal State Eligibility Test (WBSET) examination. This examination is held with the sole purpose of recruiting Assistant Professors in universities and colleges of West Bengal. Candidates have to appear for a set of two papers, both examinations to occur in one day. Both exams will be offline and objective. Paper 1 tests the skills of teaching, reasoning, and awareness of the candidate. Whereas Paper 2 tests the subject chosen by the candidate.
