West Bengal Health Recruitment Board (WBHRB) has released the application form for the recruitment of Staff Nurse Grade 2 2017. Interested applicants may apply for the posts on the official website of WBHRB at wbhrb.eadmissions.net Only the female candidates are eligible for the post. The selection of the candidates will be based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.
The WBHRB Staff Nurse Grade 2 Application Form 2017 is released in the month of July 2017. The portal to fill the application for is available on the official website of the West Bengal Health Recruitment Board. If in case a large number of applications are received the board may shortlist the candidates and will hold a primary examination for the applicants. Important Dates for recruitment of Staff Nurse Grade II 2017 by WBHRB
Given below are the important dates for the recruitment of Staff Nurse Grade 2 2017 which has been released by the West Bengal Health Recruitment Board on its official website.

Only the eligible female candidates with the age not more than 39 years as of January 1, 2017, will be able to apply for the recruitment of WBHRB Staff Nurse Grade 2. Candidates must possess General Nursing and Midwifery/ basic BSc. or Post Basic BSc degree in nursing from any nursing school or college recognised by both Indian Nursing Council and respective State Nursing Council.
Candidates must have registered themselves as Female Nurse Midwife from West Bengal Nursing Council. Applicants must have knowledge of Bengali/ Nepali (spoken and written). Before registering for the Staff Nurse Grade 2 recruitment candidates must know the application fee as mentioned:
Application Fee for the General and OBC candidates is Rs. 160/-
Note- Candidates belonging to the reserved categories as ST/SC and persons with disabilities of West Bengal do not have to pay any registration fee.
The application fee can be paid through banks participating in the GRIPS ( Govt. Receipt Portal System ), Govt. of West Bengal by duplicate challan. The challan will only be generated after the completion of the registration process. Candidates can also pay the fee through online mode by net banking.
Candidates should note that the registration fee should be transferred to the Govt. Receipt account as mentioned in the notification. Fees should be deposited in the respective bank within the 7 days of challan generation. Cheque, bank draft, cash will not be accepted by the authority.
Guidelines to Fill the Application Form of WBHRB Staff Nurse Grade II 2017
To fill the application form for the recruitment of WBHRB Staff Nurse Grade II 2017 candidates must follow the mentioned guidelines. But, before applying for the same they must read the eligibility conditions given above or they can also check it for the official website of WBHRB.
- Visit the official website of West Bengal Health Recruitment Board (WBHRB) at wbhrb.eadmissions.net and then click on the “Recruitment for the post of Staff Nurse”
- After that choose “Online Application” to fill the application form. Candidate registering for the first time should click on “Apply Online” and already registered should choose “Sign In” button.
- Through Apply Online, the candidate now has to fill the application form with the required and valid information. It should be filled in the “First Screen” and after filling, click on the “Submit button” to move on the next screen.
- Make the fee payment through GRIPS and proceed to bank payment through offline or online.
- ST/SC/PH candidates can skip the payment step and move to the next step of registration.
- Fill the information that has been asked and click on “Save and Submit” button. And take a printout of Govt. challan. The challan printout is required for application submission.
General and OBC candidates- Login ID/ Application number and password will be sent by Email and SMS after the data submission that was filled in the first screen
ST/SC/PH candidates- Application number and password will be sent after the final submission of the Application form.
What after paying the application fee?
Once the candidate has deposited the fee through challan or by net banking, they need to fill the application form further with the necessary details. The candidates who have filled the application fee through challan will be able to log in their ID after one day of challan submission. However, candidates who have submitted the application fee by net banking will be able to access their account within two hours of fee submission.
After logging the ID by entering the application number and password, the candidate must confirm that the information provided by him or her is correct by clicking on the declaration. The applicants must upload the passport size photo graph and signature with size not more than 50 kb.
On the basis of the information filled by the candidate, if he or she is found eligible for the post, they will be called for the Written Test or Interview through SMS or Email. After receiving the message for selection, candidates must take a printout of Admit card/ Call letter and should retain it till the final selection.
Important Note- The application form will be submitted online. Candidates do not need to send the application form through post or any other medium. In case any information provided in the application form is found false or not filled correctly then the application will be rejected by the Board and no further selection will be done for that particular candidate.
