Application Form for AP Police Recruitment 2018
Here the Board has put two separate periods for submitting the application form. The candidates who has opt for the post Sub – Inspector, RSL, Station Fire Officer, Dy. Jailor has to submit their application form before November 24, 2018. And the candidates who will choose the post Police Constable, Warder & Firemen have to submit the application form before December 07, 2018. The candidates should check the eligibility criteria prior to enrolling their name for recruitment.

Mode of Payment
The mode of payment for recruitment is only online. To make the payment candidates can use the Credit Card/ Debit Card, Net Banking. Or they can just simply deposit the amount on AP Online, MeeSeva Centers.
Eligibility Criteria of AP Recruitment

Admit Card for AP Police Recruitment 2018
As soon as application process overs, the Board of Police recruitment in Andhra Pradesh will issue the admit card. The admit card will be available on the official website of SLPRB at slprb.ap.gov.in. The candidates who will register their names for the recruitment, will then able to download the admit card for the exam.
For the recruitment of SI and RSI, the admit card will be announced 08 days before the examination. The examination will be held on December 16, 2018. The candidates may have to use the login credentials to download the same.

Exam Pattern for AP Police Recruitment 2018
For the post of SI, RSI, Jailor, and Fire Officer
As we said above the recruitment of SI and RSi has announced yet. So their recruitment process includes three steps
- Preliminary Written Examination
- Physical Efficiency Test/ Physical Measurement Test
- Final Written Examination
Preliminary Examination Pattern
The preliminary examination is qualifying in nature for the post of SI, RSI, Jailor, and Fire Officer. The candidates ahve to just undergo the objective type exam in offline mode. The marks obtained by the candidates will not be considered for final merit list.
Physical Measurement / Physical Efficiency Test
The candidates who will clear the preliminary test will have to download the intimation letter for appearing in the PET/ PMT. In PET/ PMT the candidates will be first measured as per the eligibility conditions for the recruitment. The height, weight, and eyesight of the candidates should match the norms laid down by the recruitment board.
In the physical efficiency test, the candidates have to perform the following tasks.
- 100 meters Run
- High Jump
- 1600 meters Run
Here candidates should note that the criteria of the completing task in particular time varies as per the post. Even SC/ St and reserve category candidates have provided the relaxation in time as well.
Final Written Examination
The candidates who will qualify the preliminary examination, as well as the PET/PMT, have to appear in the final written examination. The maks obtained in the final written examination will be used in preparing the merit list. In the final examination the paper I and II are qualifying in nature, The candidates have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in Paper III and IV. Mode of examination is objective. The candidates ahve to marks correct answer on an OMR sheet.
Selection Procedure of AP Police Recruitment 2018
As we mentioned above the recruitment details on this page is only for the SI, RSI, Jailor, and Fire Officer. And for the post of PC, Warder, and Firemen the recruitment process will be defined later.
So the candidates who have applied for SI, RSI, Jailor, and Fire Officer, have to score as mentioned below.
Minimum qualifying marks to qualify Preliminary Examination.
- 40% marks have to be obtained by a general category candidate
- 35 % marks for OBC
- 30% marks are minimum to be obtained by candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen
Qualifying Criteria of PET/PMT
The second stage of recruitment is the PET/PMT the candidates have to qualify the exam. Here some of the postcodes (11, 14, 15, 16) will be assigned the marks, where for some (12 & 13) of them, the examination will be qualifying in nature.
Minimum qualifying marks to qualify Final Written Examination.
Like Preliminary examination, The minimum qualifying marks are also predefined here.
- General Category Candidates – 40%
- OBC – 35 %
- SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen – 30% marks
Compilation of Merit List
The final merit list will be compiled according to the marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination. As per the Andhra Givenermnet, First, the recruitment board will fill the first 30% of the vacancy with the combined merit list of locals and Non – Locals. The remaining 70% of the vacancies will be filled by only locals of Andhra Pradesh.
Here for different postcodes, the marks form which the merit will prepare shall different. The candidates will get the position in the merit as per the marks obtained by themselves.
Result of AP Police Recruitment 2018
The result of different recruitment will be declared partly.
For the posts of SI, RSI, Jailor, and Fire Officer
The result will be declared thrice for each of the recruitment stages separately. The candidates need to chcek the result from slprb.ap.gov.in. The candidates may require the login credentials to check the result. The mode of getting the result will be only online, apart from online there will be any other mode to do so.
For the posts of PC, Warder, and Firemen
The details of the recruitment will be notified as the Board releases the advertisement.
