Selection Process Of APPSC Civil Assistant Surgeon 2020
In case of the screening test is conducted as referred above, based on the Merit in the screening test, candidates are shortlisted in the ratio of 50:1 notified post for the main examination in order of General Merit. In the case where no screening test is held, all the eligible applicants would be allowed to appear for the main examination.
If two or more candidates get the equal total number of marks, those candidates shall be bracketed. Candidates within the same bracket shall then be ranked 1, 2, 3, etc., according to age i.e., oldest being considered for admission. In case there is tie-in age, the person who possesses the qualifying Degree at the earlier date would be considered. The selection of candidates for appointment to the posts shall be based on the merit in the computer-based examination.

The answer keys of the main exam are released in two stages. At first, the provisional answer keys are released. The candidates are allowed to raise objections against the answer keys. However, this is allowed only for a specified period of time. Once the objection window closes, candidates cannot challenge anymore.
