APPSC Hall Ticket: Group-I Screening Test, Download Rules

APPSC has not released hall tickets for the Group-I Services Screening Test under Notification No. 07/2026 yet; the test is fixed for 24 January 2027. The notification says hall tickets for the Screening Test and the Main Examination will be hosted on the Commission's website, with download instructions posted there. A web note of 27 October 2026 extended the Group-I application deadline to 9 November 2026 (11.59 PM) and states that the Screening Test date does not change.

APPSC has announced hall-ticket dates through web notes on psc.ap.gov.in. The table below lists its 2026 web notes for other examinations, the kind of notice to watch for before 24 January 2027.

How to download the APPSC hall ticket

APPSC's current Download Hall Tickets page asks for your OTPR ID, password and a captcha; the Commission will post instructions for the Group-I hall ticket on its website. The OTPR user ID is generated when you complete One Time Profile Registration and is sent to your registered mobile number and e-mail ID, and Notification 07/2026 advises applicants to retain both for OTP/SMS communication.

What to check on the hall ticket

• The time of the examination and the entry time are printed on the hall ticket, and late entry after the entry time is not allowed.
• If a detail such as community or date of birth is wrong, report it immediately to the Commission's officials or the Chief Superintendent at the centre; the correction is made in the Nominal Roll against your hall ticket number and verified by the Commission's office.
• If the hall ticket has no photo or the photo is too small, affix a passport-size photo attested by a Gazetted Officer and hand over a similar photo for each paper to the Chief Superintendent.
• A hall ticket does not mean your candidature is cleared; that depends on verification of original certificates.

Group-I Screening Test: rules for the exam hall

• The Screening Test is offline and OMR based. Bubble answers with a blue or black ball point pen only; pencil, ink pen and gel pen are not permitted.
• An OMR sheet with the Booklet Series left unbubbled or wrongly bubbled is invalidated, as is any sheet altered with whitener, eraser, blade or chalk powder.
• Hand the original (top) OMR sheet to the invigilator; taking it away gets your candidature rejected. You may keep the duplicate (bottom) sheet.
• Mobile phones (even switched off), calculators, smart watches, pen drives and Bluetooth devices are banned, and the Commission does not assure safe-keeping at the venue.
• You must sit both papers; absence in any paper of the Screening Test makes you liable for disqualification.
• The test is held in all district centres; you choose three preferences in the application.

Main Examination hall ticket

The Group-I Main Examination is descriptive and is held at four centres only: Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati and Ananthapuramu. Biometric identification is done before entry, a candidate who leaves the hall midway is disqualified, and anything other than the admit card, photo identity proof and pen must be left outside the exam room. Candidates are then called for the Interview at the ratio of 1:2 with reference to the vacancies.
