APSC Recruitment 2021: Assam Public Service Commission, the state level PSC in the northeastern state of Assam is entrusted to conduct recruitment for the state government. The Commission releases recruitment notifications to advertise recruitment events for departments of the Assam Government. As mentioned earlier, the Commission engages in conducting 05various recruitment events throughout the year. Being its primary function, APSC undertakes every responsibility starting from the releasing of the official notice to the conduct of selection tests and releasing results to conducting the final appointments. APSC Exam Calendar 2021
Assam Public Service Commission releases the exam calendar on the official website, apsc.nic.in. The tentative dates of the written examination/screening test/ viva-voce interview/personality test are announced at later stages providing adequate time for candidates to appear. The dates of viva-voce/personality tests for written examinations/screening tests to be held will be subsequently notified through the notification.

Key Roles and Functions of APSC
The Commission is the apex recruitment body for gazetted and non-gazetted government posts in the State of Assam. As per the provisions of the Article 320 of the Indian Constitution, the following sums yup t he key roles and functions of the APSC.
- Recommendation of suitable candidates for direct recruitment to different departments and services of the state.
- Recommendations on the foundation and principles to be followed in officer promotion matters.
- To advise the government on all disciplinary matters
- To make recommendations regarding recruitment and draft service rules to the state government.
- Conducting and recommending CIvil services recruitment in the state.
- Conducting departmental examinations of the state government.
Selection Procedure for APSC Recruitment 2021
The Commission adopts different selection methods for different recruitment. For example, it might conduct one or two-stage examination before a final interview for the selection of candidates. In some cases, such as recruitment through deputation, a direct interview may also be staged. Once the examination is conducted, the Commission then conducts other final selection processes that may include interviews, skill tests, etc.
- Written examination: This examination is conducted as per the syllabus of the post. Candidates have to qualify for the examination and appear in the interview /viva-voce round.
- Viva Voce: This round is basically conducted to test the knowledge of the candidate about the post, surrounding, and personality. Also, the qualities required for the particular post is evaluated through this round.
The selection procedure through Combined Competitve Examination (CCE) is given below:
- CCE Preliminary examination: This examination is conducted according to the required syllabus. Candidates have to secure the minimum required marks to qualify for the main examination.
- CCE Main examination: After qualifying the preliminary exam, candidates have to appear in the main examination.
APSC Application Form 2021
The application form for various recruitment conducted by APSC is released at the official website of APSC. Candidates have to visit the official website and fill the application form of a corresponding recruitment event. There is always the last date involved and candidates are advised to check on this so as to not miss out on the opportunity. Candidates must also check eligibility conditions before applying for particular recruitment.
The application form status is released by APSC on the official website. A list of rejected candidates is released on the website. To check the form status of the post, candidates can check it through the official website. Click on the ‘status of applications’ present on the left side of the screen. Once done, a list of all the recruitment will appear for checking the application form status. Click on the appropriate link for checking whether candidates’ name is rejected for in the list or not.
Note: For specific events, the Commission can also allow applicants to make corrections in the application form after the last date. However, one must always refer to the information brochure/notice/advertisement for details in this regard.
APSC Syllabus 2021
The examinations conducted by APSC is conducted as per the indicative syllabus. For each recruitment exam that Assam Public Service Commission conducts, it specifies a syllabus as per the requirement of the post. If candidates want to prepare for any of the examinations, they can check the syllabus for the same on the website. To download the syllabus, candidates must visit the website.
The syllabus is released either through the official notification or through separate pdfs containing information about the syllabus. One must refer to the syllabus before starting preparations. It contains all the important topics and subjects based on which, the question paper is set.
APSC Admit Card
The admit card for all the examinations conducted by APSC is released at the official website of APSC. Candiates have to login to the website and download the admit card from apsc.nic.in. To download the call letter, candidates have to enter their roll number.
To download the admit card, candidates have to visit the website first. On the left side of the homepage of the website, candidates will see the ‘important links’ tab. Under this tab, ‘call letter/admit card’ link is present. Click on that link. Admit card for all the examinations conducted by APSC is published there. Candidates, now have to click on the appropriate link for downloading the admit card.
APSC Answer key 2021
APSC releases answer key for the examination conducted by the commission at the official website. To download the answer key, candidates have to visit the official website, apsc.nic.in.
Under the ‘important links’ tab on the home page, a link for ‘answer key’ is present. Click on that link for downloading the answer keys. Once done with clicking on the link, candidates have to search for the examination they have applied. Click on the appropriate link for downloading the answer key. On the same page, the answer key for the examination will appear. Download the answer key and calculate the estimated score for the examination.
APSC Result 2021
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) declares the result for examination codcted by APSC at the officilal website. Candidates have to visit the official website of APSC which is apsc.nic.in. The result is declared in the form of merit list by APSC.
For checking the result for the examination, candidates first have to visit the official website. After reaching the home page, search for ‘important links’ tab. Under this, candidates can see link for the result for ‘screening/written exam result’ and ‘interview/viva voce result’ links. Click on the appropriate link for checking and downloading the result. After clicking on the correct link, result will appear on the screen. Download the result PDF and check the thr name in the list.
