How to use them
- Sit one paper in a single timed attempt before you revise anything, to find out where you actually stand.
- Mark it honestly and note which sections cost you the most marks per minute spent.
- Revise that section, then sit a different year’s paper to check whether the gap closed.
State commission papers lean heavily on the state’s own history, geography, polity and current affairs. That portion is where a state exam differs most from a national one, and it is the part general preparation books cover worst.
