Result of Indian Air Force Airmen 01/2020
IAF released the result of phase I examination. The result has been declared at http://www.airmenselection.cdac.in. All the candidates who have appeared in the examination now check their result through login. The candidates who qualify the online examination will have to appear in the next stages of recruitment i.e. Phase II. After each stage of the examination, a separate result will be declared.
Admit Card of Indian Air Force Airmen 01/2020
IAF has issued the admit card for the online examination at airmenselection.cdac.in. The candidates who have filled the application form in time are issued the admit card for the online examination. The candidates will not be able to download the admit card from any secondary method, neither IAF sends the admit card on the candidates resident, nor candidate can get it from anywhere else. The admit card/call letter is issued firstly for the online examination and after that those who clear the written part get a new admit card in their registered E-mail and same admit card will be used for medical examination.
Application Form for Indian Air Force Airmen 01/2020
All the candidates who wished to participate in the recruitment process filled the application form. IAF has released the application form on the official website i.e. airmenselection.cdac.in. The mode of filling the application form was online apart from that no other mode was available to do so. To complete the form the candidates have to submit the application fee.
Application Fee
Examination Fee for the Airmen Exam is Rs.250/- was paid by the candidate while registering for the online examination.
Mode of Payment: Candidate made the payment by using
- Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/Internet Banking through the payment gateway.
- The examination fee can also be paid by Challan payment at any Axis Bank Branch.
Eligibility Criteria of Indian Air Force Airmen 01/2020
Before applying for the Airmen application form, the candidate should ensure that he fulfills the eligibility criteria of the IAF selection procedure.
Only Male candidates are allowed to fill the form.
Nationality: Indian / Nepalese
Age Limit: The candidates who fall under the age group of 17 to 21 are eligible to apply. Candidate born between 19 January 1999 and 01 January 2003 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
Age Relaxation: Indian Air Force has not provided any relaxation in upper age limit to any special community.
Marital Status: Unmarried
Educational Qualification for Group ‘X’ (Except Education Instructor Trade)
- Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
- Candidate should have passed three years Diploma Course in Engineering in any stream. The candidate should have completed the course with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).
Educational Qualification for Group ‘Y’ (Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P), IAF(S) and Musician) Trades.
- Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant Trade Only – Passed 10+2/Intermediate/ equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Selection Procedure of Indian Air Force Airmen 01/2020
Here, the process of Airmen Selection by the Indian Air Force has been described briefly.
Phase – I Online Examination
There will be an online Test {For both Group ‘X’ Trades (except Education Instructor Trade)} & Group ‘Y’ {except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF(P), IAF(S) and Musician Trades}.
Phase – II Physical Fitness Test
Soon, after the declaration of the result of Phase-I test, all candidates shortlisted for Phase II will be sent a new admit card on their registered e-mail ID for phase – II test at an Airmen Selection Centre.

Phase – III: Medical Examination
Medical Standards of Airmen Selection Procedure
General Medical Standards for both Group ‘X’ (Except Education Instructor Trade) and Group ‘Y’ {Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P), IAF(S) and Musician} Trades are as follows: –

Surgery | Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) shall not be acceptable. |
Hearing | Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately. |
Dental | Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points |
Health: The should be in good physical and mantel condition.
Pay & Allowances Under Indian Airforce Airmen 01/2020
After final selection, at the initial level, all the cadets will be paid stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month. And after the completion of the training, the pay scale of the candidates will be as follows.
- Group ‘X’ Trades (Except Education Instructor Trade) candidates will be paid Rs.33,100/- per month plus Dearness allowance (as applicable).
- Group ‘Y’ {Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P), IAF(S) and Musician} Trades candidates will be paid Rs. 26,900/- per month plus Dearness allowance.
The pay scale of the candidates will grow in the subsequent years as per the performance of the candidates.

In addition to the above, a candidate who will be selected will be provided the following allowances.
