Indian Air Force will conduct written test for selection test in January – February 2017 to join as Airmen in Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades or Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P), IAF(S) and Musician} Trades or in both Groups ‘X&Y’ (Technical/Non-Technical in single sitting). Admit Card for the Indian Air Force Airmen 2017 is issued those candidates who fill their Application form on or before the last date.

Indian Air Force Admit Card 2017

Eligible candidates shall be sent Online Provisional Admit Cards on their respective e-mail IDs during the month of January 2017. They have to download & take the colour printout of this IAF Admit Card 2017. Call Letter is the very important document and you will need to carry the same to the examination centre to appear in the Selection Test at the examination centres.

An application may be rejected due to any one or more of the following reasons

  • Not shortlisted because percentage of marks below cut off.
  • In-complete application.
  • Eligibility criteria not fulfilled.
  • Hard copy of application not received at CASB.

How to download Indian Air Force Admit Card 2017 online

Candidate can download the AIF Admit Card 2017 from the email received. Candidate can also download Admit Card using online interface. Candidate will have to provide Registration Number along with Password. Only those Candidates who have been verified by CASB will be issued with the Admit Cards.

  • Go to official website of IAF Airman Selection Board or link given above.
  • Enter 11 digit unique registration number along with password.
  • Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download / Print the admit card.

Exam Pattern

Written Test will be objective type and question paper will be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for English paper. Written test for candidates opting for both Group X&Y shall be conducted in one sitting, using the same OMR sheet. Detailed procedure shall be explained before conduct of the examination.

Written Test and Duration of the Test will be as follows: –

  • Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades. Duration of the written test will be 60 minutes and will comprise of English, Physics and Mathematics as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus.
  • Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P), IAF(S) and Musician} Trades. Duration of the written test will be 45 minutes and will comprise of English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning And General Awareness (RAGA).
  • Both Groups ‘X&Y’ Trades. Duration of the written test will be 85 minutes and will comprise of English, Physics, and Mathematics as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning And General Awareness (RAGA).
