Indian Coast Guard Navik Result is released for each stage. Applicants have to follow these steps to check the results:
Step1: Visit the official website of Indian Coast Guard Navik or click on the link provided joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in.
Step2: Applicants land on the official page of ICG where they have to look for a recent link to download the Result.

Tie-Breaking Criteria in Indian Coast Guard Navik 2022
In case of two or more candidates having the same marks in stage I, then the tie will be broken in steps as follows (wherever tie is broken next stage will not be proceeded):
- Candidates scoring more marks in Section–I applicable only for Navik (GD) and Yantrik and not for Navik (DB).
- Candidates scoring more aggregate percentage in qualifying exam (10th class for Navik (DB), 12th Class for Navik (GD) and diploma for Yantrik) as per the post. The aggregate percentage (calculated upto 03 decimal places without rounding off) as recorded and considered by the Board of education for calculation of aggregate percentage and submitted by the candidate in the online application.
- Candidates older in age will be higher in merit.
Selection Procedure of Indian Coast Guard Navik 2022
The selection of recruits is based on an all India order of merit based on their performance in Stage-I, II, III & IV (explained in detail at para 6) and the number of vacancies available for the post. Clearing of Stage-I, II, III, IV and satisfactory performance in training is compulsory for recruitment in the India Coast Guard. All candidates will be compulsorily subjected to an identity check prior to commencement of the examination of Stage- I, II, III. The identity check will include verification/matching of the following at all four stages of the selection procedure:-
- Photograph of the candidate in the application and the facial features of the candidate during the examination.
- Biometric – only the left thumb biometric will be captured during Stage-I of the examination. The biometric during subsequent stages is to match with the biometric of Stage-I. In case the biometric of the left thumb is not captured during Stage-I then the biometric of the right thumb will be captured and will be used for subsequent verification. Apart from the left and right thumb, no other fingers will be considered for the biometric. If a candidate is not able to establish biometric with left or right thumb impression, then the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination and his candidature will be canceled.

Indian Coast Guard Navik 2022 Training
After the declaration of the final result, candidates are sent to training sessions. The basic training for the shortlisted candidates will be organized in August 2022. This basic training is organized at INS Chilika. After this, applicants have to get through sea training and professional training at the allotted trade. The brach/trade is allotted to candidates depending upon the service requirement and performance during basic training. During any time of the training, candidates are declared as unsuitable if their performance is found unsatisfactory.
