Indian Coast Guard Yantrik 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should meet the following eligibility conditions to apply for the post of Yantrik 02/2022 batch in the Indian Coast Guard:
Age Limit: Born between 01 Aug 2000 to 31 Jul 2004.
Note- Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates is applicable only if posts are reserved for them.

Indian Coast guard Yantrik Admit Card 2022
ICG releases the admit cards only for the registered candidates. Candidates can access and download the Indian Coast Guard Yantrik 02/2022 admit card from the official website joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in. The candidates need to enter their registration number or application number to download the admit card. Detailed information like the candidate’s name, qualification details, roll number, date and timing of the exam, exam center details, etc are provided on the admit card.
Examination Centre
In the application for Stages I and II, the candidate must indicate five preferences for examination city. Candidates must fill their first choice within 30 kilometres of their current/communication residence. If no “examination city” is within 30 kilometres of the current address, the candidate’s first choice must be the closest “examination city” from the current address.

Indian Coast Guard Yantrik Selection Procedure 2022
To get selected for the post of Yantrik in the Indian Coast Guard services the candidates have to undergo the below-mentioned stages of the selection procedure:
Stage 1 (Written Examination): The first step is the written examination, where the candidates have to solve the objective-based questions. The exam paper contains multiple-choice questions from the sections of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics & Telecommunication. The exam is conducted in cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Noida.
Stage 2 (Physical Test): Those candidates who qualify for the written exam are invited to the PFT round. The PFT contains the following rounds – complete 1.6 Km run in 7 minutes, 20 squat ups, and 10 push-ups.
All three tests of PFT is to be carried out in continuity without any break. Any break in the three test will lead to failing the PFT.
Stage 3 (Medical Test): The PFT round qualified candidates are followingly called for the last and final step of the selection procedure which is the Medical examination. Final Medicals Examination of all selected candidates will be done at INS Chilka.
Stage 4 (Document Verification): Candidates must carry the following original documents at the document verification round:
- Three copies of the admit card
- Two copies of the application form
- Class 10th mark sheet and passing certificate (Self-attested photocopies and original certificates)
- The diploma certificate and mark sheet of all semester
- One valid government ID proof
- Caste certificate (if relevant)
- Indian certificate for EWS
- Category certificate
- Ten colored passport size photograph

Electronic devices are not permitted in examination premises, so documents in Digilocker will not be accepted at any stage of the examination. At all stages of the CGEPT examination, candidates must bring their original documents. Candidates who are unable to produce original documents at various stages of the examination will be disqualified.

Training
Basic training for Yantrik will begin in August 2022, at INS Chilka, followed by sea training and professional training in the assigned trade. Branches/trades will be assigned based on service and performance requirements during basic training.
Salary and other information
