Eligibility Criteria For Indian Navy SSR 2022

Age Limit: Candidates should be born between February 01 2001 to July 31, 2004.

Educational Qualification –

• Must have passed 10+2 examination with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects: – Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science.

Indian Navy SSR 2022 Admit Card

They must have the registered email address and password to log in and download the admit card. Aspirants can check the name of the candidate, father’s name, examination name, exam center name, exam centre code, exam timing, gender, etc through admit card. Indian Navy SSR 2022 Selection Procedure

The selection of candidates for SSR posts is based on three stages – CBT exam, Physical Fitness Test, and Medical Exam. Know the detailed Indian Navy SSR selection procedure below.

CBT Exam and PFT

The first stage of the selection procedure is Computer Based Test. All the candidates who are appearing for the CBT exam are subjected to appear for the PFT round on the same day. From below candidates can see the detailed Physical Fitness Criteria. For all the candidates it will be mandatory to qualify for the PFT round.

• Run – 1.6 Km in 7 Min
• Squats ups (Uthak Baithak) – 20
• Push-ups – 10

Medical Exam

This stage is conducted by authorised military doctors as per medical standard at INS Chilika. Candidates who are medically fit are enrolled.

Indian Navy SSR 2022 Result

The conducting body releases the Indian Navy SSR result 2022 online after the completion of the written exam. Candidates can check their respective results from the official website joininidannavy.gov.in. As the exam is taking place amidst Coronavirus, only 10,0000 students will be called for a written exam. Thereafter, qualifying students are called for the Physical Fitness test. On qualifying for the exam, 2500 candidates will be shortlisted for the final enrolment Medical exam at INS Chilika. After the completion of the medical test, a final merit list also releases online.

Training After Selection in Indian Navy SSR

The selected candidates have to undergo a training session before the final allotment. The training is conducted for 22 weeks g at INS Chilka followed by Professional training. On successful completion of the training, candidates are selected for the SSR post as per the requirement of Service. The initial engagement for SSR is for 15 years.

Salary & Promotion Details For Indian Navy SSR 2022

Pay & Allowances – During the initial training period, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month will be given. On successful completion of initial training of the candidates, those will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence and those will be given the Pay Matrix of ₹ 21,700- ₹69,100. In addition, they will be paid MSP @ ₹ 5200/- per month plus DA (as applicable) plus ‘X’ Group pay {only for Artificer Apprentice (AA)} @ Rs. 6200/- per month plus DA (as applicable).

Promotion – Promotion possibilities will exist up to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer-I, i.e. Level 8 of the Defence and the Pay Matrix will be of ₹ 47,600- ₹ 1,51,100 plus MSP of ₹ 5200/- per month plus DA (as applicable). Opportunities for promotion will be given to those who have the overall good performance in their work and qualify the prescribed examinations.
