How To Check JKPSC KAS Result 2022?
JKPSC KAS Result releases only through the official website of the Commission. Therefore, candidates have to check the result from the official website only as per schedule. 1st step: Go to the official website of JKPSC, jkpsc.nic.in.
2nd step: Now, tap on the examination link that is available on the top dashboard. A drop-down list appears on the screen. Here, click on the ‘result’ link.
3rd step: A list of JKPSC recruitment appears on the screen.
4th step: Navigate to the JKPSC KAS result link.
5th step: A pdf file appears on the screen on the next screen. Check the roll number and name of the candidate.
Selection Procedure Of JKPSC KAS 2022
The Commission adopts a multi-stage selection process. Candidates have to qualify through two stages of the Combined Competitive Exam and a final interview for final selection and appointment into the services under the KAS 2022 exam. We have provided a brief explanation of each selection stage below.
Combined Competitive Exam
At first, a two-stage Combined Competitive Exam takes place. First is the screening test, the preliminary exam, and the second is the main exam. The prelims are objective in nature while the main exam is descriptive. One must secure the minimum qualifying marks in each test to qualify for the next. However, the prelims are only qualifying in nature and the marks of only the main exam are considered for the final selection of candidates.
Final interview and document verification
After qualifying in the main exam, candidates are summoned for the final interview and document verification stage. At this stage, candidates have to produce all original documents and testimonials. The final interview carries 250 marks and the marks are considered for final selection.
JKPSC KAS 2022 Merit List
The final selection of candidates is on the basis of the performance in the main exam and the final interview. Thereafter, candidates who are eligible through document verification are appointed to the administrative services, the police services, and the accounting services. Marks thus obtained by the candidates in the main examination (written part as well as interview) would determine the final order of merit. Candidates shall be allotted to the various services keeping in view their merit in the examination and the preferences expressed by them for the various services and posts.
JKPSC KAS 2022 Vacancies
with the release of the official notification, JKPSC has revised the number of vacancies for the JKPSC KAS exam. Earlier, candidates were participating for the 257 vacancies. However, the number of vacancies is now 187 vacancies. Check the number of vacancies below.
