JSSC CGL 2019: Notification PDF, Online Form, Vacancies, Syllabus

JSSC CGL 2019: Last date for submission of application form for JSSC CGL 2019 has been extended and is available at jssc.gov.in. The candidates can fill the form online only. The application fee for the applying is Rs. 1000 for all the candidates. However, the application fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs. 250 for Combined Graduate Level Exam. You should be of age between 21 to 35 years old and must have a graduation degree. The applicant must also be a local resident of Jharkhand only. The Total vacancies notified by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) is 1260 seats among 7 posts. The pay scale for 6 of the posts is Pay Scale II- Rs. 9300 – 34800. JSSC CGL 2019

The candidates who have already paid the application fee for the advertisement 14/2015 and 15/2015 must not pay the application fee for this post. Revised Vacancies of JSSC CGL 2019

JSSC has released official notice regarding the new revised list for the vacancies in JJSSC CGL 2019:

Application Form of JSSC CGL 2019

The online application form for JSSC CGL 2019 releases on the official website of JSSC only. The candidates can apply online only for JSSC CGL application posts. No handwritten or self typed application form will be accepted by the commission. The candidates will need mobile no. and mail ID to fill the application form. Candidates need to upload the scanned file of passport size photo and signature in the application form.

Candidates can also correct the application form in case there is some mistake in the form. The date of birth filled in the application form must be as per the date state in the marks sheet of 10th class. The candidate must have the documents to support the information provided in the application form. In case any information given in the application form is not true, then the application form will stand invalid.

JSSC CGL Application Fee 2019

The application fee for JSSC CGL 2019 is Rs. 1000 for every candidate. The candidates who are from the SC/ST category of the Jharkhand have to pay application of Rs. 250. The application form of the candidates who do not pay the application fee will be rejected. The application fee is non-refundable in every and any case.

The candidates who have already paid the application fee for the 14/2015 and 15/2015 do not require to fill the application fee in this application fee. However, such candidates must have registration no. of that time for verifying the application fee.

Eligibility Criteria of JSSC CGL 2019

The candidates must verify their eligibility criteria before applying for this exam. The application that does not qualify the eligibility criteria will b rejected and will stand invalid. Below is the eligibility criteria that the candidate can refer to.

Nationality: The candidate should only be a citizen of India only.

Domicile: Only applicants who are local residents of Jharkhand are allowed to apply for this exam.

Education qualification: The candidate must be graduate in any stream from a recognised university.

Age Limit: The candidate must be of age between 21 to 35 years old with respect to the categories.

Age Relaxation: The age relaxation for the upper limit of age ha been given for the specified categories.

JSSC CGL Admit Card 2019

The admit card for both the exams i.e. preliminary and main exam is released separately. Candidates can use the login details to download the admit card. The admit card will be available on the official website of JSSC after the application process is over. Candidates must take 2 black ball pen along with the admit card to the exam centre. The candidates are advised to come at least 45 minutes before the exam timing. No late coming candidate or candidates without the admit card will be allowed to the exam centre.

The PwD candidates are advised to come 1 hour 30 minute before the exam timing to the exam centre. There is also scribe facility available for the PwD candidates. The candidates need to fill the scribe application form at least 3 days before the exam. Candidates must carry the admit card for the scribe as well to the main exam.

JSSC CGL Exam Pattern 2019

Refer below the exam pattern for the main exam as well as preliminary exam:

I. Preliminary Exam:

Mode Of Exam: It is written exam on OMR sheets.
Language: The question paper will be in two laguages which are Hindi and English (Except for Language Test)
Duration Of Exam: You will have 2 hours to solve the question paper.
No. of Questions: There will be 120 questions in the question paper.
Type of Questions: The questions will be of objective MCQ type only.
Marking Scheme: For every right answer, there will be a positive marking of 3 marks. Also, for the wrong answers, there is negative marking of 1 mark.

II. Main Exam: The main exam comprises of 3 sections of 2 hours each.

Mode Of Exam: Offline Mode
Language: Hindi and English (Except for Language Test)
Duration Of Exam: 2 hours for each paper.
Type of Questions: There will be objective type questions only.
Marking Scheme: The candidate will get 3 marks for every right answer and for every wrong answer there is a negative marking of 1 mark.

JSSC CGL Answer Key 2019

The answer key for JSSC CGL 2019 is posted on the official website of JSSC in the answer key section only. The candidates do not need any login details to download the answer key from the website. It can be used by the candidates to check their result score. Candidates can also object the answer key if they do not seem to agree in with answers suggested in the answer key. The official answer key is available in PDF format only. It becomes the basis for evaluating the response sheets of the candidates who appeared in the exam.

JSSC CGL Result 2019

The JSSC CGL Result 2019 is released in two formats. One is in the PDF format and the other is in the Login Section. The candidates need their Roll no. only to check their result in the merit list. However, the candidates will need their login details to know their scores for the preliminary and main exam. Candidates need to clear the minimum cut-off marks decided by the commission to qualify any of the exams.

To compare marks of the main exam with the cut-off marks, only the marks scored by the candidates in Paper-2 and 3 are considered. The candidates who clear the main exam cut-off are called for the document verification round. For tie-breaking conditions, first the age of the candidates is considered and then the marks scored in the highest qualification is considered. There is also a provision to revaluate the marks scored by the candidates in the main exam. The fee for revaluation is Rs. 500.
