The commission conducts Service Examination twice a year i.e. 1st session between January to June and 2nd session between July to December every year. The Karnataka Public Service Commission recruitment invites application for various posts in Group-A, Group-B, Group-C, Group-D. The commission releases official notification in the Karnataka Gazette and other widely circulated newspapers only. After the release of Application forms, there is a written test and a compulsory state language test(Kannada).
