SSC CHSL 2025 First Round of Tentative Allocation declared

The Staff Selection Commission has declared the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2025. The notice appeared on the SSC notice board on 17 August 2026.

On 18 August 2026 the Commission issued a follow-up notice on Identity Verification (IV) for the candidates shortlisted in that first allocation round.

FRTA is the stage at which a qualified candidate is provisionally allotted a post and a department, on the basis of merit and the option-cum-preference form submitted earlier in the cycle. The allocation is tentative — it is confirmed only after identity verification and document checks are completed, and it can change in later rounds if candidates decline or are found ineligible.

Candidates shortlisted in FRTA should read the identity verification notice carefully: the IV stage has its own reporting schedule and document list, and missing it can cost the allocation.
