UPSC Civil Services Main 2026 e-Admit Card released
The Union Public Service Commission has released the e-Admit Card for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2026. It is listed in the Commission’s What’s New section along with the Examination Time Table for the same examination.
UPSC also published an important instructions notice for this examination dated 17 August 2026.

Two points candidates repeatedly get caught by. First, UPSC now requires face authentication at the venue for all its examinations, so the photograph on the admit card and the one you carry need to match. Second, the Commission separately publishes a note on common mistakes made while filling the OMR sheet and scannable attendance list — worth reading before the first paper rather than after.
The admit card carries the venue, reporting time and the papers you are registered for. Download it and keep a printed copy; UPSC does not send physical admit cards.
