OPSC OAS Selection Procedure 2021
Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) selects the eligible candidates for OAS through 3 stages-
- Preliminary examination
- Main examination
- Interview round
Preliminary examination
- This stage serves as the screening test or qualifying test. For the preparation of result and ranking, marks secured in pre-examination is not considered.
- Candidates have to secure the minimum qualifying marks to qualify for OPSC OAS main exam. The cutoff marks are decided by the commission.
Main examination
- In the main examination, 5 papers are compulsory to attempt. The rest 4 papers should be selected at the time of the application form.
- The main examination is conducted for 2800 marks (1400 marks for compulsory subjects and 1200 for optional subjects).
- Candidates have to answer essay type questions in OPSC OAS 2021 main examination.
- No candidate is allowed to use more than one language in the same answer script.
Interview round
- The interview round is conducted for 250 marks.
- There are no specified qualifying marks required for OPSC OAS interview.
OPSC OAS final result is prepared based on the total marks of the main examination and interview round.

What after the declaration of OPSC OAS 2021 Prelims Result?
After the declaration of prelims result, candidates have to send their applications for the main examination. Candidates have to send their OPSC OAS main application form through offline mode. With that, candidates have to attach the photocopies of the document provided below.
