MP Police Constable Eligibility

MP Police Constable candidates must meet the age, education and physical standards below.

Age & qualification

  • Age: minimum 18 years; the upper limit (commonly cited around 33 years for the general category, and higher — up to about 38 — with the female and reserved-category relaxations) is set in each MPESB notification. Always confirm the exact figure against the current advertisement.
  • Educational qualification: Class 10 (Matric) pass for Constable (General Duty); Constable (Radio) and technical posts require Class 12 with ITI in the relevant trade, and Driver posts a valid driving licence.
