UP Police SI Selection Process

UP Police SI selection has the following stages:

1. Online Written Exam (CBT)

The 400-mark computer-based test; candidates must meet the 35%/50% qualifying marks and are shortlisted for the next stage.

2. Document Verification, PST & PET

  • PST: height and chest (male) measured against the standards.
  • PET: a qualifying run — 4.8 km in 28 minutes (male), 2.4 km in 16 minutes (female).

3. Medical Examination & Final Merit

A medical examination as per Police standards, followed by the final merit list based on the CBT, subject to clearing the physical and medical stages.
