Overview of UPSC CAPF
Union Public Service Commission conducts the examination for CAPF once each year. Joining the Central Armed Police Forces is a matter of pride. - UPSC conducts the examination for CAPF for the recruitment of Assistant Commandant (AC).
- The recruitment for CAPF is done viz Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Sashastra Seema Bal.
- To get selected for UPSC CAPF candidates have to qualify Paper 1 and Paper 2. After this, candidates have to appear for Physical examination, Medical standard Tests and Physical Efficiency Test/Interview Personality Test.
CAPF Answer Key 2020
The answer key for CAPF exam releases on the official website before the declaration of result. Candidates can download the official answer key after the exam in the “Answer Keys” section. They can not object to the official answer key. However, the answer key is also released by various prestigious institutes and individuals in PDF or video format. Candidates can use the answer key to know their marks in the written exam. For every wrong answer, 1/3rd of the total marks is deducted from the total marks. The answer key is the set of all the correct answers in the question paper of the exam.

Selection Procedure of UPSC CAPF
Refer below the selection procedure for the UPSC CAPF 2020 recruitment:
Written Exam: The written exam for the UPSC CAPF exam is conducted in two phases. The paper-1 is an objective type exam of 250 marks which has questions based on general ability and intelligence. While paper-2 is subjective type paper of 200 marks. The candidates get 3 hours to write 6 essays on the exam. More information about this stage is discussed in the exam pattern section. The candidates who clear both the papers as per the cut-off are called for physical eligibility test.
Physical Eligibility Test: The physical eligibility test comprises of long run, short run, long jump and shot put. The candidates are required to complete all the qualification in the time and standard given by the commission to clear this test. Pregnant female candidates will be disqualified in this test.
Personal Interview: Applicants who clear the physical eligibility test is called for the personal interview round. Candidates need to be declared medically fit by the Review Medical Board to clear appear for this round. The candidates are evaluated on the scale of 150 marks in the personality test.

UPSC CAPF Result 2020
The result for UPSC CAPF releases in the format of merit list on the official website. The candidates need to go to the active examination sections and click on the link given for the exam. Here, the roll number wise and name wise merit list of all the qualified candidates is posted by the UPSC. The merit list released in 3 phases. Firstly, the merit list releases for the candidates qualified in the written exam.
Then, the merit list for candidate qualifying the PET releases and then finally, the final merit list is released for all the candidates shortlisted for recruitment. The candidates who clear the written exam have to fill the detailed application form (DAF) to apply for the physical eligibility test.

UPSC CAPF Admit Card 2020
The admit card for UPSC CAPF releases on the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The admit card releases in 3 stages for the CAPF which are written exam, physical efficiency test and personal interview. Vital information about the date and timing of exam and full address of the exam centre will be communicated to the candidates through the admit card only. Candidates must carry the admit card to the exam centre or else they are not allowed inside the centre. No admit card is sent to the candidate through post or mail. The admit card is issued to the candidates for PET and personal interview only if they clear the written exam.

Mode of Exam: The exam is conducted offline for paper-1.

UPSC CAPF Application Form 2020
The application form for UPSC CAPF recruitment 2020 releases on the official website of UPSC. Candidates need mobile number, mail ID and photo ID proof while filling the form.
