Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the CDS 2018 Application Form (2) at upsc.gov.in. The Commission has been released the CDS Application Form on August 08, 2018. The last date to fill the CDS 2 Application Form is September 04, 2018. The eligible candidates can fill the form through this page by submitting Rs. 200/- as application fee. Know Your Eligibility To Fill UPSC CDS 2018 Application Form (2)

  • Nationality: A citizen of India whether male or female is eligible to apply.
  • Age Limit: The candidates whose age is between 20 to 24 years can apply.
  • Educational Qualification: The candidate must have the bachelor’s degree in the respective field.

Application Fee for CDS (2)

The application fee for Combined defense services is as follows.

  • All candidates except for the woman and SC/ST had to pay Rs. 200/-.
  • These candidates are exempted to pay the fee.

There were two modes for submitting application fee are.

  • Either offline by depositing cash in any bank of SBI
  • Or online by Net Banking/ Visa Marter Card/ Credit Card/Debit Card.

Payment and Uploading of Documents

Log in to your account by entering Registration Number and Date of Birth. The Part II of registration involves three steps: Making Payment, Uploading Photograph, Uploading Signature.

How To Edit UPSC CDS 2018 Application Form (2)?

Union Public Service Commission permit to fill in the CDS 2018 Application Form (2) once. After submitting it, candidates can’t make changes. But they can resolve the discrepancy by filling the duplicate CDS 2018 Application Form (2).

Ques: Fee has deducted two or three times while doing online application fee submission. Who is responsible for returning the extra fee deduction?
Ans: UPSC clearly mentions that the fee is not refundable, and by the way, UPSC is not responsible for making a monetary transaction. In case of transaction failure, the amount deducted is being refunded within 4 / 5 working days by the bank concerned.

UPSC CDS (2) Admit Card

After filling CDS 2018 Application Form (2), the candidates will be issued the admit card for the written examination. UPSC will issue the admit card only those candidates who will fill the CDS 2018 Application Form (2) in time, as well as who are eligible for the post. The Commission will issue the admit card on upsc.gov.in. The mode of getting the admit card will be online. In order to download the admit card candidates will be needed the registration number and password.

About UPSC CDS 2

UPSC conducts the Combined Defense Services examination, twice in a year. Through this recruitment, UPSC aspirants get an entry in  Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.

As we said above, UPSC releases the notification for the examination two times a year, in the month of October and June. While examination takes place in the month of February and November respectively. Because this examination holds twice in a year that’s why the first one is called CDS 1 and the Second one CDS 2. UPSC allows only unmarried graduates to participate in the recruitment.
