01 SC, to fill up the remaining posts based on the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2018. The reserve list is available in odf format which contains the name and roll number of the selected candidates. The Commission declares the IAS Result 2018 for Prelims, Main, and Interview round separately. The result of the main examination has been announced. For the first stage of examination, around 8 lakh candidates applied and of these, more than 10000 qualified. UPSC Civil Services Main Result 2018 – IAS Result 2018
As we know prelims are over. Now after the conduction of the main exam, the commission has released the result for it. The candidates who will score more than minimum qualifying marks, the commission has declared them as qualified for that Civil Services (Main) Examination. Such candidates will be able to sit for the personality test. Candidates called for the Mains Examination, and Personality Test (Interview) is around two times the number of vacancies respectively.

Step 2: Now a pdf file will open. Press Ctrl + F. Now type your roll number on the name, the result contains both.
Step 3: If your roll number will be on the list, it will be highlighted.
Note: The mode of getting the IAS Result 2018 is online. Apart from this commission doesn’t introduce any other mode for declaring the IAS Result.

UPSC IAS Civil Services Final Results 2018
The selection in the most prestigious Indian Administrative Services, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and Other Central Services (Group A and B) is dependent on the Civil Services Final Result 2018. The Commission has released the final result on the basis of marks obtained in main and interview. The marks obtained in the preliminray exam are not considered while preparing the final result.
Vacancies in UPSC Civil Services 2018
The vacancies for IAS are 782 including
- 32 vacancies reserved for P.H. category (09 vacancies for LDCP, 13 vacancies for B/LV and 08 vacancies for H.I. and 02 vacancies for multiple disabilities).
However, a final number of vacancies may undergo a change after getting a firm number of vacancies from Cadre Controlling Authorities.
About IAS Exam 2018
IAS exam is also called as Indian Administrative Sevices (Bharatiya Prashanik Seva) Exam. The services are treated as the foremost civil services of India. There are three arms in Civil Services, Indian Police Sevices, Indian Administrative Services, and Indian Forest Services.
The civil services exam is conducted by Union Pulice Service Commission (UPSC) every year. Total three stages complete the examination process. The prelims are the first one followed by main, an interview. The prelims exam are qualifying in nature and also known as Civil Sevice Aptitude Test (CSAT). While the main examination is conventional (essay) type. The candidates who qualified all the exams is appointed to serve the nation.

Cut Off of UPSC Civil Services Examination
In the Mains examination, Paper A and B are only qualifying in nature. So, the candidate must obtain at least 25% marks in the Indian language, and 25% marks in English for his / her marks in Papers I to VII to be taken into consideration.
