UPSC CMS Result 2018 – Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) has announced UPSC CMS Final Result 2018 on January 15, 2019 at upsc.gov.in. The final result is based on the computer-based test held on July 22, 2018, and personality test held from November 2018 to January 2019. All those candidates who have appeared and scored more than minimum qualifying marks have their names in the result file. UPSC CMS Result 2018

The commission declares the UPSC CMS Result 2018 separately for the computer-based test and personal interview. In CMS 2018 examination total number of recommended candidates are 440, and 119 candidates have been put in the reserve list. However, UPSC introduced 504 vacancies at the time of recruitment commencement.

Commission has declared the final result based on the candidate’s performance on both rounds. In order to get selected the candidates have to score up to or more than minimum qualifying marks. UPSC CMS Result 2018 for Computer Based Test

The computer-based test was the first stage of the Combined Medical Services exam. The exam conducted by UPSC. UPSC CMS Result 2018 was declared on its official website upsc.gov.in. The qualifeid candidates had to appear in the personality test.

Documents Required for Filling the Detailed Application Form (DAF)

After the declaration of result, the qualified candidates have to fill the detailed application form. For this candidates are requested to keep ready self-attested copies of the following documents for submission to the Commission soon after the declaration of the UPSC CMS Result 2018 of the Computer-based examination. Personal Interview After UPSC CMS Result 2018

After the declaration of the computer-based test UPSC CMS Result 2018, the candidates require to fill the DAF. Those who will fill the DAF will get the admit card for the personality test. Such candidates have to appear for the interview round.

Pattern of Interview

The interview carries 100 marks. The aim of conducting the personality test is to assess the general knowledge, ability of the candidates in their field of study, and the candidate’s intellectual curiosity.

Previous year UPSC CMS Statistics

Last year total 717 candidates were selected, in which, 637 were directly selected, while 165 was recommended by the commission when vacancies left vacant. Check here the exam and result schedule.

Last to last year, the UPSC CMS Exam was conducted on 12 June 2017 and the UPSC CMS Result was announced on 21 December 2016. A total of 894 candidates were selected including 21 PH candidates. We notice that there was a gap of 6 months duration between the UPSC CMS Exam and the UPSC CMS Result.
