WB SLTST Selection Procedure 2020-2021

The selection procedure for WB SLTST includes two major stages. First is the TET exam or Preliminary examination. On qualifying, candidates can appear for the Mains examination. However, aspirants who have TET certificate can directly appear for the Mains examination. Check the detailed WB SLTSLT 2020-2021 selection procedure below.

• The first stage is the TET/ Preliminary Test
  • The first stage of WBSSC SLTST Selection Procedure is the prelims exam. This stage is conducted for 150 marks.
  • For the Group 1 post, aspirants have to attempt the TET exam. For Group 2, 3, 4 & 5 posts, candidates have to take Prelims Test.
• Mains exam
  • This stage consists of two steps – Written Examination and Weightage.
  • The written examination is conducted for the 100 marks for each group.
